First off, I've played a limited amount of Comic Jumper but I really liked it when I did. It's a mix of Splosion Man and Metal Slug.....with a comic twist.

As for a PSN release. At this time it is Xbox Exclusive. The company that makes the game, "Twisted Pixel" has been Xbox only. Their credits include "The Maw" and "Splosion Man", both also Xbox/Windows exlusive. Now, there has been talk with Twisted Pixel about porting their games over to PSN, but at this point it is just talk. Nothing is confirmed for a PSN release. I'm hoping for a collection of sorts, I'd buy 'Splosion Man and Comic Jumper in a heartbeat off the PSN.

On a side note, I finished up Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest over the weekend. It is low budget and you can tell, but I still had a very good time with it. It was a mix of Zelda and Lego Star Wars. Nothing difficult or too challenging, but a fun retelling of the great story from the movies. I'm playing back to through real quick to get the few items I missed to finish up the trophies and then I'm moving on. I wouldn't recommend this game at $60 (what I paid for it), but if you can find it in the $30-$40 range and are a LOTR fan I would say it is worth your time. neo

I finished the Medal of Honor single player campaign on the 360 this weekend. At full price, I have to say I was disappointed, it just didn't feel like an accomplishment after finishing the game. I'm not one for multiplayer, and since I beat the game on 'hard', I'm probably going to trade it in.

Amazon's trade in value is $32, if anyone here wants it for $35 shipped, PM me. The disc is in perfect condition, not a single scratch.

EDIT: MoH is no longer available

I recently bought Super Meat Boy for XBLA, and al I can say, is that it's amazing! It's a mix of retro-platformers with puzzels and such. The animations, especially in the cutscenes, are very well done. Lastly the gameplay is balanced well, although many find this to be on hell of a challenging game. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorite games played this year, and is perfect for holding me until CoD: BOs comes out November 09.

My wife and I are about 4 hours into Alan Wake on the 360. The atmosphere is really creepy, especially since we can only play it late at night after the kids go to bed. The story is interesting and moves at a good pace, and the scenery is amazing. The controls are a little bit frustrating at times, similar to a Silent Hill game, but the struggle is worth it.

When the kids are awake, we are working on getting all of the stars in Mario Galaxy 2. My 4 year old commands the 2nd wiimote and helps pick up stars and coins. :)

I haven't played a game in months, so I picked up Dead Rising 2. So far? Eh, it's alright. Pretty mediocre IMO. Anybody else have it? Any tips? I never played the first one and find all the simultaneous missions somewhat confusing...

My tips:Avoid boss fights when you start,or atleast bring lots of food or co op.

Play TIR online to get money to buy weapons and zombrex

Fill up on spike bats and defilabrators.

Last but not least make chuck chucky by getting the child's suit in the slappys store in palisades.

Play TIR online to get money to buy weapons and zombrex

Fill up on spike bats and defilabrators.

Last but not least make chuck chucky by getting the child's suit in the slappys store in palisades.

Here's some additional tips:

-The only missions you need to complete are the case files, until you reach at least level 20 (you NEED Dodge Roll to fight "Chuck the role model" and "Taste Like Chicken" you don't got'it and yer screwed)

-subtip: there's no shame in "story restart" to up your stats, I went out and purposely did as much as I could to PP build (tame Snowflake, get the zombrex, collect Katie gifts) and just waited until Katie turned and it offered me the chance to restart until I was Level 10, then when I found out I couldn't complete Chuck the Role Model at level 18 I story restarted until I was stronger.

-there's a Bowie Knife on top of the news stand when leaving the safe house, use it and a pair of boxing gloves (found at the store right next to the safe house) to get Wolverine Claws

-subtip: Examine the movie poster for "Bloodsport 4" behind the Playboy cover heading for "Americana Casino" to get the combo card for "tenderizers" then when you get get your boxing gloves grab a pair of MMA gloves for a weapon weaker then the spike bat/wolverine claws but a little faster.

-sub-sub-tip: you don't need a Combo Card to make weapons, just read a FAQ on what you can make, Chuck gets more PP if you have the card and the weapon will do more damage but an uncarded Combo weapon is still pretty useful often more so then the spiked bat.

-when leaving the safe room grab the following foods in the mall for a quick health boost: Coffee Creamer in the Coffee shop, Orange Juice at the news stand, and Coffee Creamer on the planter box across from the rest room.

-DO NOT BUY ZOMBREX!!!! watch this video:

pick up the one you get at the start of the game from Roy's Mart and you're fine. Certain surivor's give you Zombrex too. I saved 55 survivors, got the best ending, and didn't buy a single box of Zombrex from the thugs, save your money for the SUV keys!

-subtip: pretty much watch all that guy's videos, "Father of the Year" gives you massive PP for just carrying some crap back to the safe house between missions.

-also, the Arthur Costume (or 'Knight' costume some people call it) is much funnier then the Megaman costume in the first game.... although I was playing as Chuck in his Underwear to begin with so a cosplay that gives double health then turns into the costume I would have worn anyway is pretty awesome.

Dead Rising 2 is amazing... it's a lot easier then Dead Rising 1 (the zombies are lot less aggressive, the psychopaths don't dominate an area like they used and even the most viscous can easily be avoided, and Survivors are much stronger, the only way they get hurt it seems is if *I* hit them or if they get locked out... in DR1 they'd shot each other to death so you HAD to give them swords or end up with a pile of dead survivors who shot you in the back on accident in this one I arm them all with shot guns and lead a group of 5 around with no problems.) it's not a good thing if you want a game that kicks your ass like DR1, but it makes it a lot more fun for casual playing.

With the baseball playoffs I haven't really been playing much . Go Rangers by the way!

However, I did finish Costume Quest on the PSN yesterday (fitting, I know). That was a really fun little game. I think it was a little short and would be better served as a $10 game, but I enjoyed it very much and I'll buy another one next year if DoubleFine kicks one out!

I think I'm going to pick up Red Dead for the PS3 today, I'm really interested in Undead Nightmare. I'm also looking forward to Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. It looks like the series might be over tonight :(, so I'll be back to playing soon! neo

Game Dev Story!!

I downloaded this game a few days ago, it's iPhone only. It's a simulation game where you start a video game company. It is your job to hire, train, and level up your staff to develop and ship video games and ultimate become a successful company. And it is ruling my life!! I can't stop playing the dang thing. As a matter of fact, I was just playing and paused because I wanted to tell you guys about it, and as soon as I'm done typing this I will continue again. I'm working on an Adventure RPG called Sky Tower and it's going to be EPIC. I'm so glad my boss is on vacation today :). Anyway, if you have an iPhone you should pick this up. It's $4, but worth every penny. To this point Plants vs Zombies has been my favorite iPhone game......but that is starting to change.....I'll keep you posted! neo

I haven't been playing too much of anything lately. Still teaming up with a few friends in Left 4 Dead 2, but beyond that not much of anything. I have played around in the Little Big Planet 2 beta, but haven't messed around too much with what's under the hood there.

I went to buffalo on friday and picked up dead rising chop till you drop since it was only $20.00{compared to canadian being $30.00}In my oppinion its..MEH.My biggest problem is when it is night, when its night it goes dark and when I say dark I mean you cant see ANY THING thats even a couple steps ahead of you.Their are also some little things that made me think the game is meh such as the zombie poodles.Other than that I think that it did pretty good considering the wii has lots of limitations.

If anyone was wondering which ending I got,it was actully pretty identical, and by identical I mean

overtime mode.In Overtime mode you have to find a bunch of items. The difference in overtime mode for deadrising chop and dead rising 2 is in chop you have to find items to help save you from turning and in dead rising2 you have to find items to give to tk.

In dead rising chop, once you find the items, you gotta find queen, then you have to find a generator, than go through hoards of zombies in a cave then you gotta go on a turret and destroy a tank THEN you gotta kll a military guy and then well your done.

I am pretty sure you get

Overtime Mode

By completing all case files and saving almost all survivors{I let 1 die and accidentaly killed another}

grab a 'toy lazer sword' from the toy shop (or unlock the real lazer sword in some way I forgot) when you run in the dark you'll emit a red glow that makes it a lot easier to see at night.

Anybody played Black OPS yet?

I have it, does that count ;). I broke down yesterday and picked up Red Dead again for the PS3 and then Black Ops. However, it was a busy night so I haven't played either. I plan to change that tonight. But, for the record, several of my friends have been playing and they say it's great. I actually prefer the Treyarch games to Infinity Ward so I'm excited! I'll post some thoughts later tonight or in the morning! neo

Of course Neo. I'm not sure if there will be any difference between the consoles, but I appreciate an opinion non the less ;) Well, I guess TRU is running some promotion again. I missed out on the free t-shirt, but now you get a free $20 gift card :) Might pick it up in the next day or so. I think my wife is tired of hearing me swearing next to her at night when I play online

Well, I broke open Black Ops last night, finally. Of course, by broke open I mean I was so frustrated by the time I got the plastic wrap off that I chunked the case across the room and it landed nice and face open on the kitchen tile.....but I digress....

Anyway, Black Ops, and Call of Duty for that matter, is like my wife going on a week's vacation. It's nice to have some quite alone time with other things you like, but when she returns you remember that she's the true love of your life.......and then you spend all night long never leaving the bedroom.....but again, I digress.......

I love the Call of Duty series, since CoD 3. To this point World at War has been my favorite. I'm a huge fan on Treyarch. Their games are a little more real world feel, a little more gritty, and I love that. Plus, I'm a history buff so I love that they take real world events and base the game around it.....it just feels more real than what Modern Warfare does (to me, of course). Anyway, my hype meter was very low leading up to Black Ops. In fact, the game was on my Christmas List and I wasn't even planning on buying it right now, but a came into some money and figured now is as good a time as any. And from the moment I start the game I'm completely in love...AGAIN. It's everything that I love, the shooting mechanic is flawless. The environments are beautiful and full of life. The story, even early on, is interesting. Using my metaphor from above, you get comfortable with a game when you play it so often, in this case MW2 and then you move on and you enjoy stuff like Red Dead Redemption and The Force Unleashed II and Lara Croft but then from the moment you boot up a game that you really love you are reminded at that moment why you bought the game in the first place.....and then you spend all night getting reacquainted.

Anyway, I'm two stages in and completely hooked, once again. This will be my completely weekend, starting tonight. I like to play through the story first, but I may jump into a little multiplayer this weekend, we'll see (I've heard it's really good!!). Anyway, right now I still think Red Dead is my game of the year, but Black Ops has potential! If you are looking to play some multiplayer and you are on the PS3 and we aren't friends already, shoot me a request: neolego.

Picked up Black Ops and Force Unleashed II last night. TRU was having a promotion where you buy two, you get a $50 gift card. So it was like getting Force Unleashed II for next to nothing in the end and my wife get's money for Babies 'R' Us. Didn't get passed opening them up since it was a pretty long day. Played a little Reach multiplayer and called it a night. Hope to get to Black Ops sometime this weekend.

Well, I spent a good part of the weekend with Black Ops. Still not finished with the single player yet, but I'm still loving every bit of it. It is, by far, the best single player CoD game yet. I've heard mixed things about the Multiplayer, but I haven't tried it yet so I'll reserve my opinions until then! Taking missions from JFK was great, and when you hit 'Nam the action goes through the roof!! neo
