Mystery Man
So I'm guessing this has been tested by someone already, but does the LEGO Avengers Quinjet work well with Minimates? I have a possible way to get just the Quinjet and am curious to how the Minimates will work with it. Works great! http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=10411&st=780&p=223103entry223103
Donny B
I was at Michael's last night (you know, like you do) and found this thing on the shelf: http://doctordreadfullab.blogspot.com/2012/11/doctor-dreadful-alien-slime-drink.html It seems to be a pretty awesome looking containment unit and in an appropriate scale, but I don't know if I'm ready to burn 15 bucks to find out. Anyone have any insight on this thing? I picked one up tonight along with the AvX set, so I thought I'd post a photo to give people an idea of how the compatibility with these works: Personally, I'd say they're a pretty good fit together. There's just enough room inside the tube for one of the base/stands that Protector is standing on (thus giving it a 'suspended animation' type of effect) and it's just big enough overall to fit the average minimate. Thanks for the suggestion, funk!
SuperChefMate
I now must get this for my Weapon X minimate! It looks really good.

Shogi
After seeing that pic, I had to try out the Bio-Containment Chamber from the Independence Day movie. You have to put them upside down if you want to do a suspended look (otherwise their head is covered by the top cap

Donny B
Dude, that looks awesome. I'm really glad that it worked out. Looks like I'm off to go pick up one or two of my own. Thanks for being the guinea pig! I know you said you found it at Michael's, but if you don't feel like shelling out $15 a pop, Toys R Us was selling theirs for $10, and Amazon.com currently has them for $8.74 plus eligibility for free shipping, so if you're looking to get at least 3, then that's a pretty good option. Just throwing that out there (Amazon also still has a couple of those ID4 Bio-Containment sets available, interestingly enough)
Prowlar
I found a Matchbox Motorcycle that works rather well with mates. It would likely go better with the MAX police officer however I don't have any of them.
Mirymate
Sooo close. As it is, Cap looks like a very patriotic shriner.
JediJohnson
Just saw this review of "Nitro Mites" at MarvelousNews: http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=15649 Has anyone seen these? Do they work with 'mates? Thanks!
SuperChefMate
I've seen these at TRU, and they are pretty small. Almost half the size of that bike in the picture above with Cap. Also, I almost picked up the one with the Captain American design but was put off by the pairing( they come in 2 packs and blind bags). They packed Captain America with Green Goblin for some reason. MMao
Just found this gatling gun off of a crappy War Machine figure I got at Ross... It even has a derpy projectile that plugs into the hole in the front and can fire... Also came with a smaller, tiny gatling gun that's just too small to do anything with... Hawkeye's Junk
Picked this up at Kmart yesterday. Perfect for Orange constructs to go with Larfleeze.
Heroic Slacker
Any recommendations for a Minimate scaled RC vehicle? Whether it be a boat, car or plane/helicopter? I really want to drive a Minimate around for whatever reason.
Shogi
Meant to post this a while ago, I found this Disney Autopia car in a Goodwill recently and thought it was around minimate scale. Apparently it was sold in Chevron gas stations in 2000 with 3 other cars It has a pull back friction motor in it too
Donny B
Great find! Yeah, that looks pretty sweet with the other cars

Jeff
Seeing her fly out of that convertible reminds me of the X-Men cartoon of her date with Gambit. Now we just need a formal wear dress custom!
Heroic Slacker
Just a heads up my local Walmart marked the SHIELD Helicarrier down to $20, I know the scale is super off, but $20 for what amounts to a decent display piece isn't that bad. PattieCake
Slacker, do you mean the Marvel Universe One? $20 for that thing is a steal, aye?
Heroic Slacker
Yeah, the Avengers Shield Helicarrier from Hasbro for the Marvel Universe toyline. I think it is a good price, it retailed for like $70-80 at one point. Edited February 28, 2013 by Heroic Slacker
PattieCake
Whoa. How is it with MiniMates displayed on top? I haven't seen any pictures as of yet.
UK Collector
That is phenomenal. Only $30 online too. Will have to speak to my relatives and see if they can get one for me. I don't fancy getting it shipped to the UK with the increase in shipping costs for 2013
