newaddict
I've added my WIP shots of Chase and Victor from the Runaways. They're almost done but not quite there. I'm working on a pair of fistigons for Chase and a headset for Victor. Anything else that can make them better let me know. Thanks as always. Nervous Rex
where is the hat from? did you make it? I am starting a custom for a friend of mine, and need a hat, (and dread sculpting it) yours looks great!
newaddict
The hat is actulally a modified DCD Joker hat. I shaved down the brim with a razor blade, sanded down the top corners of the hat, then used some paperclay (my new favorite modeling material) to give it the rounded effect and fill out Chase's hair in the back. Sorry theres no easy solution for a ball cap yet.
TENIME_art
Yay! More Runaways!! They look great!! (Molly's still my favorite, though )
newaddict
Yeah, I agree the girls of the series are more iconic and seem to have a greater following than the guys. I'm hoping to have the rest of the girls finished in the next month or so as soon I received some additional "new" parts.
newaddict
Updated today with my 2.5" Hellboy custom. I'm still working on his belt (not pictured), but he is more or less done at this point. Thoughts, comments and suggestions are appreciated.
TENIME_art
Okay, no offense to anyone else who's made a Hellboy custom, but I've just never liked any of them. Until now. Beautiful, 'addict. Beautiful.
Alpheon
Heck, I've liked them all--and yours has certainly joined all other's ranks, sir. Very nice; where did the huge (but superlative) pistol come from?
newaddict
As always, thanks for the kind words. The gun, as well as the hand portion from the "Hand of Doom," came from a Stikfas supervillian kit. The gauntlet portion came from a plastic bead I found, drilled out and painted. newaddict
Updated again today with something a little different: a vehicle. I have several customs in the works, but none of them that I could finish without additional parts I'm waiting on right now. I was itching to work on something and stumbled across the Mega Bloks Thing Mini-vehicle set at my local Fred Meyers. Now I'd never given this thing a second looks because for the most part I dislike the Mega Bloks quality (excluding some of the newer sets) and also the scale is wrong. But they had it marked down from $6.99 to $1.99 and then they were also running a "buy two, get the third free" promotion on all Mega Bloks. So I picked up 3 sets for $3.98 and some change and decided to see if I could put something together. Using the pieces from those kits and also a few from my Lego collection, I put this thing together. I'm sure it's nowhere near comic accurate (haven't read FF for a while) but it looked like something Reed might piece together. The back portion is detachable and becomes a fighter escort vehicle. Not the greatest thing I've ever built, but I have fun and thought I'd share. As always, comments and suggests are appreciated.

TENIME_art
Looks bad@$$ to me! Where'd you get that Endor Shield Generator Bunker? It looks to be in a good scale with the 'Mates. It's not for the 3 & 3/4" figures, is it?
newaddict
The bunker is indeed from the 3 3/4" SW figures. I used to collect that entire line a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away . . . Anyway, I was trying to find something to use as a backdrop for my BSG and it seemed to look okay. And thanks to everyone for the feedback.

Fujis
I know you said that you ran out of time on Vulture but I still think he looks great. I love his facial expression and the detail on the wings.
luke314pi
Very nice work, I especially like the wings!
newaddict
Updated again today 5/30/07 with a new section of Batman Beyond customs. Included are my older, existing Blight and two new mates: Ace and Ten from the Royal Flush Gang. King, Queen and Jack are (hopefully) forthcoming in the next few days, as soon as some sculpted pieces are finished. As always thoughts and comments are appreciated. newaddict
Quick update: I've added King from the Royal Flush Gang (from Batman Beyond). Still working on Queen and Jack, so hopefully the group will be together soon.
newaddict
Queen is up today in the Batman Beyond Section. Hope to have Jack finished by early next week. Also, I'm starting to plan my next set of Batman Beyond customs (since I'm not making any headway on my final few Runaways ) so if anyone has any requests of specific Batman Beyond villains or characters, let me know and I'll see if I can make that happen. TENIME_art
So...if you had to put a price tag on the complete Runaways set (after you've finished them all), whether you were selling your originals, or, say were to take on a commission, how much do you think it'd be?
