At this point in time even ones that cost over $1000 are finicky hobbiest quality machines that take time, effort, calibration, software and hardware tweaking to get good quality prints out of. And then even the good quality print would take a fair bit of finish work if you want a smooth surface. Even with files, your $300 printer is not going to be an instant minimate factory.
