gambitron
Love it! What I love more is that my wife is more excited than I am.
WinterSoldier
Note to self: make more hypothetical what if threads about stuff I want in the future. That seems to work well for me. Can't wait for these!

TENIME_art
Yeah, make all the figures that Palisades made, and I won't have to hunt any of those down anymore, lol...
Valo487
Yeah, I need a 'mate version of EVERYBODY from the Palz line.

Jay Tigran
I could only see Buffy getting Minimates if they bring back the original cast for a new series (a~la X-Files)
force2099
Wow.....If DST can do all of these and the accessories in minimate form.......wow....just wow.

MisterPL
I could only see Buffy getting Minimates if they bring back the original cast for a new series (a~la X-Files) Agreed. I just found it interesting that Palisades had the Muppets and X-Files license and now DST has them, too. Army of Darkness, perhaps?
buttheadsmate
If the Minimates surpass the PALz then there will be nobody more pleased than I . PALz had their faults [e.g. I detest the style their hands ] but the X-Files line was IMHO almost perfect & I just can't see it being constructive comparing them to what we are about to receive from DST . That said the comparison is inevitable & if I appear to be 'lofty' then forgive me but I really wanted to say my piece ......early . What I'll also say is that years ago there were initial plans for Art Asylum to partner with Palisades who had acquired the block-figure rights to Buffy . Here's a couple of promotional pictures for the PALz lines .......... ............they were that good !
Nervous Rex
(Does this mean Buffy Minimates aren't far behind?) If so, we could see the second official Nervous-Rex minimate! (now bring on 90210, party of 5 , the pretender, the profiler, ER, Felicity, Chicago Hope, etc.........) i smell a late 90's background character TV boxset. youbastards
I decided to rewatch the X-Files run in preparation of the new series (and Minimates) and was surprised to find that Netflix has a high definition widescreen film transfer that looks amazing. Fun Fact!: Season 1 of The X-Files was the first complete tv season of any show to be released on DVD way back in 2000.
Hawkeye's Junk
Yes, I remember buying the season at Sams Club for $109.99! Edited September 19, 2015 by Hawkeye's Junk
Mystery Man
I'm a few episodes into Season 4 and it's just as enjoyable as I remember when these first aired.

Turtle
Everything about it holds up to me. The only thing about the old DVDs (which I still have) was that those crappy boxes would wear down on the inside and the flaps would get in the way so you couldn't slide the dvd case back in. Frustrating as heck. I told my wife about X-files minimates, and she immediately started wishlisting. It's pretty likely I'll be but doubles of whatever is released. Mystery Man
I've already got my spare Elle Driver ready for a pants-suit Scully. Still rummaging around for a better hair piece.
TheAnvil
I'm so excited for these. I may have to get another pack and make a Hank Moody. Also, Buffy Minimates would be the greatest thing of all time, especially if they include Angel characters like Doyle and Fred.

At this point I'd even take the scrapped Faith spin off. Eliza is still pretty young and doesn't seem to be up to much.
Politician
So the trailer is out and it looks excellent.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1SmJUBT5q0I didn't catch any shots of Mulder as he looks as a Minimate. I could have missed it but it seemed like he was bearded in street clothes and shaved in a suit. David hasn't aged too bad, hopefully there's a clean face to give him a classic look. A red hairpiece for Scully would probably pass pretty well too.
youbastards
Just finished rewatching Season 1 on Netflix. I would like to see DST do season based waves for the classic stuff, with dedicated boxsets focusing on the particularly important or popular episodes. Wave 1/Season 1: Mulder (suit) & Eugene Victor Tooms Scully (suit) & Luther Lee Boggs Deep Throat & Eve 9 Cigarette Smoking Man & Eve 10 E.B.E. Boxset: - Mulder (variant) - Frohike - Byers - Langly
