Mysterious Stranger Posted January 15, 2015 Share Posted January 15, 2015 These did turn out cool. Perch Perkins? Should have been Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. Also, the Patrick looks off. I think its the head. He has more of a triangle head than a cone. Just my two pence. Patricks head looks like its a full helmet over the standard Minimate round head instead of a standalone sculpted piece. I think that's what is making it look "off". You can see where the 'mate head pokes out the cone shape of the pointy head, like its stretched over the round head. The sides of the pointy cone taper in around the 'mate head so it fits in the neck hole for the chest cap. If they can find a way to make the head cap more triangular and still work with the chest cap I think it would look better. And yes, they're in the category of "so sculpted, they're beyond Minimates, now they're tiny little action figures." Sandy's bubble-helmet is going to be worth it's weight in gold.
