youbastards
Although, I cannot place Red's hair piece (not the hooded one). It seems familiar, but not.... So far, it isn't any of the pieces I thought it was either...new sculpt? Initially, I though it was Harada's: It looks like it is designed to sit over a chest cap. Onyx_6
I was thinking it was Shanna's at first. It's a great looking piece; I would love to see this one reused a few times. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't quite fit with the cape on.
Minimate-Maniac
Red's hair is a reuse of Rictors hair.

Nessex
I very kind soul picked my up a Nissa from SDCC. I thought they were a little over-priced, but my fondness for translucent figures won out and i bought it anyway. I don't know how well her likeness was captured as i haven't read any of her comic appearances, but the figure itself is very nice. Clean lines, nice detail on the leaf bikni. The wings also went on a lot easier than i remember Wasps going on back in the day.
bilbofett
Did anyone buy these at SDCC, Zenescope is coming to Pittsburgh comic-con. And I was wondering if it would be worth it to get them there or just order them online.(factoring in gas, admission vs. shipping from site or ebay). Thanks
buttheadsmate
Regards the above......... These are currently unavailable from the zenescope shop.
luke314pi
Here is a new pic of the 4-pack: We have it up for preorder now, and it will be in next month's issue of Previews.
buttheadsmate
Thanks Luke............so 'Red' & 'Nissa' are exactly the same as the boxed pair ?
dr baghead
aren’t those the wrong Red and Nessa or did they decide to re-use the solo-packs for the four packs? Also, after Pathfinder did such and amazing job making 8 unique characters from nothing but reuse these look extra cheap and boring, not to mention the fact they have the audacity to ask $10 for the singles and then make a four-pack that sells for full price with slight variants (if that?) of those same two characters... the whole thing just seems very amateur hour. youbastards
Well, at least this boxset answers the question of where all of the leftover single boxed inventory went when it disappeared from the online store.
DSTZach
That is the wrong photo. Red and Nissa are different. New paint schemes.
DSTZach
Sorry, Luke, I don't know how you got the wrong photo. Sent you an update. Diamond has the updated one, that I can see.
luke314pi
Looks like Diamond has both photos posted for retailers still. I will update the one in our store tonight. I am glad to see the Minimates are different.
Mysterious Stranger
Not to go all "pervy" but the girl with the purple waist sash/skirt looks like she might have a little "Party Angela" going on, at least from what I can see of the waist piece under the sash. Looks to be flesh tone.
buttheadsmate
I mean this [mostly] light-heartedly but does anybody, anywhere, know [for sure] what's going on anymore ??
DSTZach
I will tell Diamond to remove the secondary picture, I only saw the one. They will be just like we saw at SDCC, BTW. Protos have not changed since then. Nissa is opaque, Red has a different color outfit.
MisterPL
Just to compare and contrast: I think I prefer the convention versions better.
buttheadsmate
They look quite nice but I can no longer fathom why the wing-holding piece is still necessary these days .
Lobsterman
It does seem like there ought to just be a chest block piece with wing pegs at this point, doesn't it? Perhaps the stiffer (and thus more brittle) plastic used for the chest block wouldn't be as durable for the tiny wing pegs, resulting in a lot of sheared-off wings and complaints to customer service?
DSTZach
They are different materials. Probably anything thinner than a shoulder peg is risky.
TENIME_art
OMFG I am totally putting red hair on that opaque Nissa. POISON IVY.

Captain Paco
TENIME_art, that is what I was thinking of doing with the opaque Nissa as well. I like the variation of the box set but I would like to get my hands on the convention versions but not at the prices on eBay.
