fatcow
Can't wait to see the giveaways, I now only live one state away from SDCC so I cannot wait to come up next year and be able to say I've seen the glorious chops in more than one state. Thank you Zach!
DSTZach
Here's one giveaway: https://twitter.com/TheRealComicWow/status/484451331324014592 This is not the one I mentioned would be at the DST booth, and paired with one in another location. Those two I'm waiting on pics of.
CBMM1
Hmmm. Interesting! I hope "Team ComicWow!" is not too hard to find.
Pete
Is the 2-pack from a current licence? I'm excited to hear what it is, as I thought all had been revealed.
hellpop
I think Zach said in the Halloween speculation thread that the two-pack is from that line, but I'm not sure. Info from that thread is hard to keep straight.
mav-man
I think its Grimms Fairy Tales... Edited July 7, 2014 by mav-man

Zexion_Armando
If you can get the supposed links to work, I'd be very interested

MisterPL
Cool. No interest whatsoever so that's more money that'll go to other Minimates.
Zylek
Did a quick google image search and they look very Femme-Fatale-esque to me.
TENIME_art
Can't see the pics.
CBMM1
Well I hope that's not real, but I have a feeling it is. I do agree that they have a very Femme-Fatale look. I have no interest in those kinds of designs/figures.
hellpop
Great, more slutty versions of popular characters that I can't share with my daughter. For a supposed children's line, there sure are a lot of bimbos in it.
CBMM1
I just don't think that these types of characters translate well into Minimate form. They're too...what's an appropriate word...Rounded for such a blocky translation.
fwoosheyman
I sure hope they just a couple SDCC exclusives and not a new line. Seriously who is the hornball at DST who keeps wanting to make things like these and the "haunted vagina" boxset?
Zylek
Zach said it wasn't GFT in the Halloween thread so that means this last exclusive could still be GFT? Edited July 7, 2014 by Zylek
DSTZach
GFT is not the Halloween ComicFest license, nor the last exclusive two-pack I was talking about. More on GFT later, but Minimates is a brand, not a line. Not every line we put out under the Minimates brand is for kids. Walking Dead, Aliens, Platoon, Kill Bill, Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Jay & Silent Bob...
MrClean
I feel the need to clear my browser history after looking up zenescope to see what these were.
Zexion_Armando
Great, more slutty versions of popular characters that I can't share with my daughter. For a supposed children's line, there sure are a lot of bimbos in it. If you mean minimates... Then thats odd, since a lot of properties over the years have been from Rated R/M games. If you mean Grimm Fairy Tales... Then, lol, take a look at Zeniscope's offerings.
hellpop
What I mean is, we've heard several times over the years that Minimates are primarily a children's toy, not an adult-driven collectible. When figures of... questionable taste are released, it's kind of hard to justify.
DSTZach
I'm not sure what the context was, but I find it hard to believe we ever said that ALL Minimates are for children, since we've always maintained an adult section for Minimates collectors. Desperately Seeking Susan was never intended for children. Platoon, Fistful of Dollars... If Godfather and Beverly Hills Cop had ever happened, I'd have an even better argument. Some people might say that Femme Fatales were of questionable taste, but taste is subjective. I don't think we ever in any way planned to market Walking Dead Minimates to kids, but the zombie-loving kid market turned out to be a lot bigger than any of us thought. Not saying these will be bought by kids, but I doubt the designs will be as risque as Tarot was.
