youbastards
I can't put my finger on it, but I'm sure Chuck has run the digits and knows that to nail down that exclusive, Luke would need to grease a few palms.

Netglow
I just saw these and figured they were cool, but 10 bucks for each set on thinkgeek makes them a must!
MisterPL
Shameless plug time. When I see stuff like this, I can't help but hit the comments section.
hailtotheking
Shameless plug time. When I see stuff like this, I can't help but hit the comments section. Minimates did it.....seriously though Lego way to be 2000 and late?
Zak Katz
7 mini-figs and the set for $60 is a pretty good deal.
karamazov80
FYI, I ordered the sets from ThinkGeek, and they arrived in bubble wrapped, pretty beat to hell. Not the biggest deal, but a bit of a disappointment since I primarily ordered these as gifts.
DSTZach
Thanks for the plug, PL. I've been trying to keep Minimates.com updated, I'll have to plug BBT over there.
MisterPL
At least Minimates don't look like toddler versions of the cast. It's a nice set, though. Good value for Lego.
Mystery Man
Lego is good for buildings and vehicles. Playmobil for animals and dinosaurs. It's Minimates that offer the superior block people.
arnim zola
But which Trex would make a better devil dinosaur. Im thinking the lego one with minimate arms and claw hands. CANT DECIDE.
Mystery Man
I haven't found a good Devil Dinosaur, be it custom or pre-made. Closest is the M1 "Last Dinosaur" vinyl figure but those're 1) expensive, 2) rare-ish, 3) not the right colors and 3b) I'd be hesitant to spend that kinda money, paint it and ruin it. http://www.clubtokyo.org/images/figures/m1/m1FigureLastDinoBrown.jpg
Zak Katz
Dude check out the new Jurassic World T-Rex! I'm trying so hard not to buy it.

MisterPL
Best Devil Dinosaur stand-in I've seen so far. Paint it red, throw on a smoking jacket...

Ronan The Accuser
I haven't found a good Devil Dinosaur, be it custom or pre-made. There are a few interesting choices out there. For me personally I don't like the way newer T-rex toys look with the hunched over design. I prefer the older stuff where the figure is standing straight up like Godzilla. The three I had narrowed my search down to were the Playmobil T-Rex, HG Toys Dinosaur Warriors T-Rex and a TRU Rex that I noticed recently. The TRU one is in the action figure aisle with the Army/Pirates/Fantasy stuff. It costs a bit ($50 i think) as it's part of a set but it is a nice looking huge beast of a toy. The Playmobil one looks nice too but I had never seen it in person so I wasn't 100% sure about scale. I went with the Dinosaur Warriors Rex and have no regrets. It's a perfect scale and has the Devil Dinosaur look, tiny mishapen arms and huge thick legs with clawed feet. I was lucky enough to run into one recently and snatched it up. Preliminary painting on Devil and Moonboy begins this weekend. By the way, the only reason I even knew this figure existed was from You Bastards custom thread (Pg 8). He used this figure to make his DD custom way back in 2010.

Mystery Man
The Jurrasic World Lego stuff is lots of fun. I've got all the sets x2 so I can build real big enclosures. Plus, those gyroscopes make fun time machine bubbles for Kang! The Playmobil Dino's are my absolute favorites, though. Realistic enough without losing the simple block figure asthetic that I prefer. I just wish they'd have done an iguanodon, brontosaurus, plesiosaur and ichthyosaurus. Other than my Godzilla vinyl collection, everything I buy is intended to supplement my Minimates. That Dinosaur Warriors T-Rex looks great! Looking forward to seeing it completed... and I need to find the thread mentioned. Jay Tigran
I've got to say I love these Minimates, the show has been very hit or miss, but these guys are perfect (and I love the couch). Too bad the girls aren't capable of sitting down
MisterPL
Yeah, the guys don't look very gentlemanly like that. What do we do about it? Should there be an alternate seated skirt piece that's sculpted with a bend?
