stegron01
Just got these (thanks Luke!) and have to say they are as awesome in hand as in the pictures! The likenesses are the best in my opinion of any set of "real life" characters in the whole minimate line. Also nice to get such a comprehensive character line-up! Captain Paco
I was curious if anyone had ever dealt with DST customer service, how long does it take? I did email customer service but never heard anything back about my Howard's broken left leg. What should I do next?
DSTZach
When did you write in? Send a follow-up, at one point we were looking into who would be handling replacements.
Mysterious Stranger
When did you write in? Send a follow-up, at one point we were looking into who would be handling replacements. Should we read this as DST is handling the replacements? Asking for others as my sets were fine. Captain Paco
I sent my first e-mail to Customer Service at Diamond Select Toys on December 12th, 2014 which was the day I got my set delivered to me. I did not notice the broken leg until I was getting ready to open the package. His leg remained in the packaging after I took him out. So about two minutes after I sent the follow-up e-mail to Customer Service, Kelsey from DST replied and told me that they just got the parts and will be sending me a replacement part this afternoon. Wow, that was quick. She also told me that they did get my first e-mail and put me on a waiting list, so I have restored faith in the process at DST. Soon Howard will be able to stand on both legs next to his wife, Bernadette in my display case. Shogi
So I just read/skimmed this whole thread, was the Playstation controller left out of the sets? Other than the (Toy Fair?) pics from AFI last February, there's no pictures nor mention of the controller.
Zak Katz
There's no video game controller
MisterPL
Maybe they're saving it for the next set. (There's a next set, right?)
Onyx_6
For anyone who has not yet ordered these, Entertainment Earth is having a sale on Biff Bang Pow merchandise: Buy 1, get one 40% off. They also are offering free shipping on irders over $79, which is the price of two of each set with the sale coincidentally! Just put my order in! Wow thanks! It works out as just over £23. Free shipping and it's 25% off! Even cheaper than Lukes especially when you factor in the US-to-UK shipping too. karamazov80
Thanks for the heads up Ivan. I finally bit the bullet with these, buying a set for my wife for her birthday, and another set. . .to sit in a box in my attic probably, plus a Ghostbusters Keychain to put me over $40! homestar17
Then mayhaps I bought the last one. (I bought the 2nd one for the extra hands & cuz it had 2 women.)
Mysterious Stranger
Amazon prices tend to fluctuate at random too so it might have just been a flash sale or something. I almost picked another set of these from Thinkgeek but couldn't pull the trigger. They are great as they are but I didn't see a real need for the parts right now. Unless I wanted to make the cast S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
Shogi
I bought both sets just for the sculpted hands, I really wish we could get a parts set full of just hands holding stuff, cans, chinese take out, chopsticks, burgers, cups, etc...
