karamazov80
Louie, Derek, and Maron are the best comedies going that I've seen, followed by It's Always Sunny and Simpsons, though neither are what they used to be. But I honestly don't bother with the network comedies much anymore. I saw some of those mentioned, and they didn't do anything for me. The Office was pretty good, though even there it paled next to the original IMO. Last one I remember really getting into was Freaks and Geeks. luke314pi
By the way, Entertainment Earth just sent me an update that these have been pushed back to December 10th. Any idea when preorders will open up? They didn't say. I have to wait until they put up preorders before I can put up ours. I should probably also mention that these will be $24.99 per set, both from us and from EE.

That seems a bit steep but I believe these 2 box sets come with part of the couch so that takes some of the sting away from the price. Not sure how the "Build-A-Couch" is going to work though. DSTZach
It is three identical seat pieces and two different armrests. Seat pieces are about 50% thicker than a torso, with the seat back.THEORETICALLY, you can buy multiple sets and make as long a couch as you like. dr baghead
instead of building a theoretical infinite couch can I take the arm rest and affix them to ONE section and make an arm chair?

Once they've solicited it, I'll release the control art.
Zylek
Cool BAC (Build a couch), maybe we'll see more build-an-accessory type thing in the future.
QuisporQuake
Granted I'm still a newbie, but pushed backed dates and still no pre-order offers for a set that has already been pushed back to early December, while pre-orders for Jan. 2015 sets are posted. Hmmmm, my Spidey senses are tingling.

Mysterious Stranger
It's a new license so I'm sure there are extra hoops to jump through, clearances to get, likeness approvals and all that jazz.
JPC
I thought likeness approvals was why this line has such variety, because they aren't considered likenesses? Definitely looking forward to seeing how these turn out! Wish Penny wasn't in that ugly pink dress that gets used for every license, but that's my only wish so far. Mysterious Stranger
My understanding is that this isn't a DST license so there might be more legal wrangling behind the scenes. The actors might have clauses in their contracts that require their sign off on any merchandise with their likeness regardless of format. Whatever reason for the delay I'm sure its nothing to worry about.
Mnemosis
MY understanding? Sans nose, a Minimate "likeness" is no longer truly a likeness, but parody. However, a licensor wanting to keep the stars happy MAY require their approval just too keep everyone happy. OR maybe contract negotiations are holding things up
DSTZach
I don't know that we would have designed them unless it was a done deal, and I believe everything is approved, so they may just be holding off on offering the Minimates until after the figures come out, so as not to overwhelm BBT fans with lots of product all at once. Whenever they are offered, you probably won't have to wait very long, if that helps.

luke314pi
I just got an email from my EE rep that these are now scheduled for release in mid-January 2015.
MisterPL
I just need to know if we're still getting classic Penny or the new pixie-cut Penny.
