Placed my order today as well and was pleasantly surprised the shipping/handling was still only $2.59 if you got all three.

I have no desire to keep this movie though. Is there any place you can donate opened DVD's?

Local library? Goodwill? Craigslist? Toys for Tots?

Hey guys I bought the DVD set but didn't get a code or anything? Em I missing something or is there something else you have to put in?

The code should be in a piece of paper and I think you have to set up an account with Marvel.com after you input the code.

I have no idea where to donate an open DVD (I’m using mine as a ‘card’ to give my nephew the $50 I was gonna give him for Christmas so he can buy Skylanders) but I came up with some options on what people who don’t want the movie and don’t have a seven year old they can dump it on can do...

1-Help international board members by purchasing multiple copies and selling them for cost of DVD+minimates+shipping, since they probably don’t want the DVD’s either start building a little pile... then on Christmas morning at 4am drive down the street like Jesse Pinkman tossing DVD’s on people’s lawns.

2-“Accidentally” “Return” it to Netflix or Redbox with whatever movie you actually wanted to watch, don’t want to watch a movie? Stick in one of the return bins at the closing forever Blockbusters, it’s their f**king problem now!

3-Leave it somewhere kids go: the table of a fast food restaurant, the bench of a park, the hood of a minivan you see in the parking lot of toys-r-us... sure most parents will slap it out of kids hands thinking it’s probably a mislabeled porno as a “prank” (or worse a properly labeled porno and the heroes’ are uniting in horrifying ways) but eventually a tired one will say “sure, put it in my bag..."

4-Trick someone into taking it by saying “excuse me, I think you dropped this!” and handing to someone in a crowded mall, then quickly disappear into the horde of shopping having successfully passed on your burden

5-Ask the people you know at work who have kids if they want it, alternatively if it’s too shameful to say you bought it just for toys put a sticky that says “free” on it and leave it by the coffee machine, someone will take it.

You know, I think I told you at C2E2, YB, that they needed to start packing Minimates with movies like Best Buy did with DC. Glad to see that the great, nebulous "someone" listened to my idea. tongue.png

What DC mates were packaged with movies at Best Buy? Only mates I recall being packed with a dvd were Marvel mates with the Ultimate Avengers 2 animated movie and those were availabe more places than just best buy.

I really wish they had been bundled together with the DVD. Too many Digital River horror stories. I want the minimates, but the reviews on how bad this movie is makes it a tough sell at $33+ for the three figures including a coaster DVD, with the added chance of mail-order foul-up. I was interested in Hulk Buster if he was different (as shown) instead of the control art MisterPL posted that said it'll be metallic.

No, Digital River is not handling it.

Looks like Alta Resources handles the redemption for this, and googling, Disney Movie Rewards. The one time I dealt with Disney Movie Rewards they were really quick.

Thanks for clarifying... I almost had a massive heart attack.
