With Morbius coming out next month, who should our next Spider-Man foe to get the Minimates treatment?

My list:

1. The Jackal - Classic villain who starred in the epic clone disaster. A wave including Jackal could include an updated Scarlet Spider and some clones like Kaine.

2. Hammerhead - I don't think he could anchor a wave himself as the main bad guy but I could see him in a crime "wave" with Tombstone, Count Nefaria, and Maggia goon army builder.

3. Molten Man - An oldie for sure. Maybe a Spider-Man Beginnings wave with the Tinkerer, Mary Jane, Crime Master, Looter, and Scarecrow.

What are yours?

Whilst they've both been made I think we deserve another Vulture & another Lizard . The Lizard needs to have a proper moulded head whilst the Vulture never really made the grade IMHO.... not least because the one we have looks more like Blackie Drago sans hair.... rather than the Adrian Toomes he's supposedly meant to be !

What do you think ? Just check out the eyebrows .

Oh yeah ...there's also this guy called Carnage.

Beetle's not really a Spidey villain, though. He first fought the Human Torch, and I'd say he's more associated with Daredevil then Spider-Man. I guess it's debatable.

But I think it's definitely the Jackal, even ahead of Morbius. Hammerhead's right behind him, and then I'd say Silvermane and the Enforcers. And I've got to give a shoutout to the March Hare.

Perhaps I'm his only defender, but I think Vulture came out pretty well. His wings were a bit on the bright side, but not to the degree I'd call the figure a failure. Maybe the eyebrows could have been a little... whispier, I guess?... but I thought the overall face design was quite good – especially considering that in any other medium but the noseless Minimate head, Toomes' distinctive hook nose is such an integral part of the character's look.

And I thought you were a fan of the original Carnage design?

I kind of thought that for a sec, too, that he was just a generic Marvel villain who's fought lots of people. He was in an incarnation of the Sinister Six, though, and Hasbro made a couple figures of him under the Spider-Man line. Also, Wikipedia says so! laugh.png

I'm curious: what would you guys change about Carnage? More sculpted add-ons, I assume? Maybe more muscle tone integrated into the tampo designs like contemporary mates? (And knowing, of course, he likely wouldn't have anywhere close to the level of tampo coverage as the original)

If they did redo Carnage, I'd still want it to be the standard (non buff chest piece) minimate with Venom's tendril attachments painted in the red and black color pattern.

My Spidey Villain list?

-Carnage (tendril and axe arm attachments)

-Hydroman (clear blue swap out torso and fist arms similar to Sandmans)

-Calypso (next to Shanna, the other nearly nude Jungle Queen)

-Paper Doll (could be a really neat sculpt or picture frame accessory with her crawling out of it)

Movie Green Goblin

Movie Doc Ock

I mean, come on. We got Raimi's Sandman, Venom, and new Goblin. As much as I hated the Power Rangers villain incarnation of Norman Osborn's demented alter ego, I'd still add him to my Minimates collection for posterity.

Because I grew up with those figures and it bugs when they're improperly identified: Those are both Toy Biz figures, not Hasbro.

Also, I'd love to see Beetle, Boomerang, and the Spot, plus an updated Chameleon would be cool.

More sculpting is really all a new Carnage needs, maybe some new hand weapon attachments. If they want to go all out, make a Cletus Kassidy alternate head/hair.

My biggest Spidey villain want is Jack O'Lantern, followed closely by Demogoblin and Molten Man. I would love a Spider-Slayer army builder.

As for remakes, I still think we need another Black Cat and Dr Octopus to make up for the F&F fiasco, but I would like to see a new classic Hobgoblin with glider.

I grew up reading classic Spider-Man stories. So for me, this list is real easy.

All-news:

Molten Man, classic.

Beetle, classic 1st app. costume for starters. Also have to the 1990's version in the same series, and one of 'em as a variant.

Crime Master, classic.

Jack O'Lantern, classic.

Big Man.

The Enforcers, classic.

The Looter.

The first couple of Spider-Slayers... with Jameson faces on the view screens!

The Living Brain.

The Tinkerer... and the army builder should be one of those zany "martians" from his first appearance, back in ASM vol. 2 #2.

Jackal, classic.

Stegron.

Silvermane, with parts for both a suited and exo-skeleton version.

Tombstone.

Hammerhead.

Owl, although he really *is* a Daredevil villain.

Boomerang.

Speed Demon.

Re-dos:

Lizard, classic. With sculpted heads. One for the classic "no teeth" version (See Ditko/Romita, Sr.) and one with lotsa teeth (see McFarlane).
Vulture, classic. With Adrian Toomes/Blackie Drago heads (and Drago's cowl)

Doctor Octopus, classic, with a better system for attaching his tentacles.

Doctor Octopus, white suit.

Kraven, with a sculpted vest piece.

Carnage, with new attachment parts.

Hobgoblin, with both classic Kingsley "mask" and Macendale "demonic face" versions.

I am with you guys saying the current release of Carnage is pretty good. However, I think a crazier looking axe hand and maybe sculpted feet or more tendrils would go a long way. He needs claw hands like Venom has. Maybe even longer scarier claws.

I'd take most of what was said. I grew up reading ASM starting in the 260s along with Peter Parker, Spectacular Spider-Man and Web of Spider-Man...those were the days.

Can those of you wanting a new Doc Ock tell me why? I had thought the Friends and Foes one nailed it.
