Aliens and Lost in Space!

Recommended Posts

This weekend, Toy
Fair International begins at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
Not open to the public, the event allows toy manufacturers to present
their new offerings to buyers from retail stores around the world, and
it always offers fans the first look at the hottest toys of the year.
Well, this year Diamond Select Toys will once again be in attendance,
and once again they will have plenty on display to dazzle fans!

On display at booth 4905 will be new items from DST's broad array of
licenses: Marvel Comics, Marvel Studios, The Walking Dead, Star Wars,
Star Trek, Universal Monsters, The Munsters, Knight Rider, Ghostbusters,
Pathfinder, Tomb Raider and Invincible. Products will include highly
detailed 7-inch action figures, 2-inch Minimates mini-figures, Femme
Fatales PVC statues, Granix art plaques, vehicles, light-up statues,
banks, prop replicas, bottle openers, kitchenware, neon signs and more.

DST will also announce two new licenses at the show:

Lost in Space: The classic 1960s TV show, which updated "The Swiss
Family Robinson" for the space age, will receive Minimates and an
electronic replica of the B-9 robot.

Aliens: The 1986 science-fiction classic that drove the Alien franchise
to new heights will receive Minimates and Minimate vehicles, as well as
electronic vehicles of the Colonial Marines' military transports.

More new licenses will be revealed throughout the year, so keep your ears open for more news from DST!

Zach, I'm going to make a special request here, please include a molded alien egg with each pack. Open and closed eggs, with facehuggers and chestbursters should be pack-ins with each pack. thumbsup.gif

Damn my wallet is going to sulk but my heart is happy.

is pathfinder a comic?

I did some research and found out that it's a medieval rpg like dungeons and dragons and a movie.

There is a Pathfinder comic, and books, but the movie is I believe unrelated. We made plush goblins for the RPG, but plan to do more. :)

Lost in Space! Is old news!

Just sayin... ;)

Astronaut's?

Calling it... duh duh duh...., LOST IN SPACE!

To be fair, someone also guessed Aliens. Once people guess things correctly, I kinda lose interest in the guessing game

Well... frak.

There were only two or three non-Marvel liscences that could make my cash strapped butt buy no matter what.

Aliens is one of them.

Guess I need to revisit that list of organs I can sell on the black market. Everybody only has one kidney these days, right?

What...!! No Peter Pan? wink.png

Technically it's not license agreement and if it's a retailer exclusive, it won't be shown at Toy Fair. But I still believe. Clapping%20Hands.gif

As someone who grew up watching Lost in Space right alongside Star Trek, I'm really looking forward to seeing the LiS Minimates. I'm picturing a couple 4-packs and maybe the Jupiter 2.

And as stoked as I am about getting Minimates and vehicles based on James Cameron's Aliens, I'm still wishing for a couple four-packs from the original crew of the Nostromo and a Narcissus.

Bring on the pics!

To everyone attending Toy Fair: BE SAFE! Enjoy the blizzard but make it home healthy and in one piece!

You're just like my wife. The guessing game's only fun until it gets a little too close to the truth....

Wait, did that email just confirm Invincible Minimates?

Sure does seem to, doesn't it?

Nope. Says they have the Invincible license, and products for their licenses includes Minimates.

But, still hoping!
