FINALLY. Eight weeks after the first brick & mortar sighting in Pittsburgh – a mere 300 miles away – I just found remnants of Series 15 at the Scranton TRU. (Maybe Donny got 'em? ) No exclusives but I snagged the two FF sets. Thanks for the offers of assistance, Members of The Board. I may still need to take one or two of you up on it. Admittedly they're only $.50 off but I find it unusual for such a new product to have a price reduction; there were still G.I. Joes from 2010 hanging around a few weeks ago, with the benefit of the new pricing to keep poor Arctic Destro on the shelves forever... But this is a great wave, even Silver Surfer who DST keeps finding cool ways to keep fresh. Love the extra effect parts, though I've currently skipped out on the Fear Itself set. I actually promptly lost the extra torso piece for Ben Grimm so I now have two of that Surfer. It's gone up to the great toy heaven in the sky that contains the single bullet Pursuit of Cobra Low-Light included If anyone needs help with these still, we've got plenty; I'd love to give them a good home. My TRU's been good, not great, about most minimate stuff but these hit here pretty hard. After not seeing TWD wave 2, getting SFxTekken wave 1 5 months after everyone else, and never seeing things like KITT, it's always in doubt what's going to end up appearing around here. BUH! you found them, and I didn't see hyde nor hair of them! And I had my girlfriend with me serving as a second pair of eyes to make sure I didn't miss anything =P They must have stocked them sometime between my visit and yours... either that, or I wasn't looking in the right place. I was there Sunday because a manager told me a shipment was due in (first Sunday truck in years, according to him). But no dice. Another truck was due this morning so I went at lunch and found half the series waiting for me. Which was nice at clearance prices. I checked on Monday around noon.I'm actually an hour north of Scranton, so I don't get down that way much unless I have occasion to visit some friends. I was basically just asking to see:A. if I had overlooked where they were (which turns out to be not the case), orB. how many days off I was from coming in when the shipment had arrived. Apparently I was 3 or 4 days off (not nearly as frustrating as if I had been, oh, say, an hour off) I actually got a hookup from Onyx_6 on this set, so I'm good. But thanks! bigvis497 Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 Finally! Finally! Finally! Snagged the whole series. I know for a fact at least two cases were put out, but only saw one Heralds set. Apparently they've had these for at least a month, but didn't put them out because there were already a couple "series 14" on the shelf. I can't confirm but I'm assuming they have the same SKU as 14? On the plus side, these rang up almost a dollar cheaper then all the other new sets I've seen. It would be much simpler if future waves had different SKU's but I'm not sure how much of that is in DST's control. On the subject of the Heralds, is anybody's Air-Walker impossible to strand on the flight base? Either the holes in the feet are too wide/shallow, or the peg on the base is too narrow. Just wondering if anyone else has run into the same issue. I too just found these (in Burbank, CA BTW) and am having the same problem with Air-Walker's feet.
