hellpop
So I mentioned in the box set suggestion thread that we should have a separate thread for playing around with "Through the Ages" sets. I figured that I'd get it started with my favorite Marvel character: Hawkeye!!!!! Three figures I feel are definites. There's the first appearance look: And Goliath: Which, with a few extra pieces, doubles as Avengers Forever Hawkeye: And his great modern costume, by the awesome David Lopez: But after that, there's a few more possibilities, like Ultimate Hawkeye (sorry for the language): The short-lived Scott Kolins costume (which I kinda like): And some truly awful ones: Personally, I'd go with this one: Hey, nobody said anything about Clint Barton Through the Ages! karamazov80
Looks like all reasonable options for future "Through the Ages" sets are covered. Thread can be locked now.

Trekker 42
You guys will live this suggestion... SPIDERMAN! 1. Wrestler Costume 2. Amazing Bag Man 3. Peter Parker (update) 4. Doppelganger Thing is, I want all of those characters. So I DO love it. Well Wrestler costume can go. But Bag Man is the one variant that is just disgustingly unused. drgnrbrn316
I'm actually surprised that we haven't seen a Spider-Man through the Ages set. I guess not even Chuck can justify that many Spider-Men in a given year (meaning a box set of 4 on top of the numerous retreads we'd see throughout the year). Ms Marvel would be a good set, but she might not be a big enough name for the concept. Same for Doctor Strange.

MINI_MYTE
How about She-Hulk? I was never a big fan of her debut (actually only) minimate. Here are the versions I'd include in her TTA set. Savage She-Hulk (first appearance) Fantastic Four costume Lawyer She-Hulk And my dirty little wish... She-Hulk in lingerie
Chronotrigger
Jean Grey: Phoenix through the Ages 1) Green skirt Marvel Girl 2) Red costumed X-Factor Jean Grey 3) Revolution Phoenix 4) Here Comes Tomorrow Phoenix They all look quite different from each other and awesome costumes. buttheadsmate
The 'Cap through the ages' set became an overnight rarity whilst the 'Wolvie through the ages' is an embarrassment. Just saying.
BannersID
Doctor Strange 1st Appearance (Blue cloak) Astral Form Master of Black Magic (Blue mask) New Doctor Strange (Cloak in the form of a trench coat)

The Wolverine one has always perplexed me, because it doesn't actually include... y'know... Wolverine. They're all Logans (or James Howlett, I guess). FA Wolverine would have really filled that Through the Ages set nicely.
Dio
Cable: I couldn't find a picture of when he was a younger soldier, but that might be better than one of these. I really want an updated version of the first one though. Edited March 2, 2011 by Dio
drgnrbrn316
And my dirty little wish... She-Hulk in lingerie I like your idea. I'd say they could do an entire box set around that theme, but Tarot fell through, so maybe we just don't have the right demographic. Nessex
Cable: I think i'd rather see his Cyclops tribute costume (with psimitar): or his current digs: Than the recent Rob Liefeld look of the plain grey . . . even wouldn't mind his costume from when Rogue let a team not long ago:
mrjasontodd
i'd say Cyclops through the ages but we seem to already have all his costumes except for a few unmemorable ones.

Nessex
Chaz - JUST as i was reading through the last post about Cyclops i thought to myself 'You know what . . . we REALLY do need some Rogue variants to flesh out older teams!' You - my boy - are some kind of mind-reader. The set you have put together is EXACTLY what i was thinking of. I was toying with the idea of a Shi'ar suit rogue - but then decided the first 4 you mentioned were all way more important!
TM2 Dinobot
I'd get on board with Rogue. Seriously. Oh, and http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.ph...st&p=183454

Psimitar would be an awesome accessory to have too. Edited March 2, 2011 by Dio
hellpop
Rogue thru the ages! Maybe even: You know, I can't stand Rogue... sugah... but even I've gotta admit that would make for a pretty cool set.
