hellpop
@Liney: I think she looks great. Can't wait to get the rest of her. @CableNathan: There are lots of AoA decals in this thread; if you go back to the first post, you'll find a (mostly up to date!) index of the decals here. No Havok though, sorry.
Hawkeye's Junk
Here's Lukes AOA Havok decal. Has anyone done a version of First Class Emma's chest block? I working on a Sharon Carter and the skin tone on the chest is too off for me
CableNathan
Thanks HJ! @Hellpop Yeah I saved the ones there but I wanted to gather up as much as I could. I've yet to try my hand at creating my own but I'm thinking about it. Luke has a great tutorial on how to take a celeb's photo and mini-mize it. Been working on some customs for some time now and I'm almost ready to unveil the group I did.
CableNathan
Okay I think it's time to start work on some decals. What brand of paper do you guys recommend? I just have a standard Brother inkjet printer. Waterslide decals or stickers? I know that Luke recommends stickers now...
Liney
After a couple of months my laptop finally let me sign back in, so heres some WIP of Misty Knight, and a back for Tigra added to my earlier post.
hellpop
"A Back for Tigra" sounds like an off-brand Wizard of Oz sequel.
CortherX
anyone have a generic X-Men chest decal that could be used for Banshee/Forge/Joseph?
MiniFiend UK
anyone have a generic X-Men chest decal that could be used for Banshee/Forge/Joseph? If your going for the blue an yellow look most Forge customs I have seen used http://www.minimatedatabase.com/figure.php?i=724&n=Wolverine this as a base. Now this figure maybe hard to track down now days but you could always just cut the chest image from the picture. Then flatten the colours and your golden
CortherX
that figure is hard to find. but print out the pic and cutting out the chest isn't a terrible idea.
Freaqualizer
You could always use Spy Master with that decal. The colors are pretty close.
Liney
Added two chest decals for Counsellor Troi to my Trek megapost on the previous page. Also converted my Wizard and Enchantress designs into decals. Wizard: Face, chest and back. Enchantress: Face, chest and legs. Two leg decals are required, each is cut on the line on the centre to give an upper and lower leg. Liney
It took me a while due to lack of clear reference art, but I finally got round to knocking up an updated chest for Magdalena from the IndieMates set. I just need to work out how the heck to fix Witchblade now :/ Edited February 15, 2014 by Liney
dr baghead
so question about waterslide decals:Can I paint on the back of a clear decal before applying? (like cel painting, but on a decal) Like let’s say I want a clear character to have red eyes, can I make a face decal, apply some red paint to the sticky side of the decal (so it’s under the print lines and thus any bleed would be better hidden) then stick it onto the head? or is there too limited a work time/too fragile a work surface/too sticky a surface for that to work? Liney
After reading Kabuki Vol 1: Circle Of Blood I wanted to design the rest of the Noh agents to go with the Kabuki minimate from the IndieMates set. Will stick them all in this one post as and when I get each character completed. Planning to put a picture of each mate when made in my customs thread too. For information on the series and characters I direct you here For a guide as to where everything goes on Scarab here so question about waterslide decals:Can I paint on the back of a clear decal before applying? (like cel painting, but on a decal) Like let’s say I want a clear character to have red eyes, can I make a face decal, apply some red paint to the sticky side of the decal (so it’s under the print lines and thus any bleed would be better hidden) then stick it onto the head? or is there too limited a work time/too fragile a work surface/too sticky a surface for that to work? I can't imagine that would be a great idea. At that size lining things up would be quite difficult and you would have to apply the paint after you removed the backing sheet. If your making the decal couldn't you just add the red eyes to the clear decal? Edited February 23, 2014 by Liney

Rheul
I wouldn't buy those... I don't think they look all that good. Not to mention everyone here is willing to do requests for free.
Liney
I agree that the faces aren't great, but I don;t blame anyone for trying to get money for something they've designed/made. Some of the faces and chests look like they've been based off of Luke's stuff
Rheul
I agree. The faces looked a bit goofy. Some looked pixilated too could be because of the close up. If they are based off someone else's work, he shouldn't be selling them.
Liney
In terms of the Futurama ones I think they, like the Simpsons, are hard to get right, as you're clearly never supposed to see them straight on. I've added the rest of the Noh Assassins, and an updates version of my Kabuki decal, to my earlier post now. hellpop
I think they might be adapted from some Lego decals. Definitely look a bit familiar.
Liney
I thought that, mainly looking at the Star Wars one, Lukes chest looks really similar to the minifig.
