@Liney: I think she looks great. Can't wait to get the rest of her.

@CableNathan: There are lots of AoA decals in this thread; if you go back to the first post, you'll find a (mostly up to date!) index of the decals here. No Havok though, sorry.

Thanks HJ!

@Hellpop Yeah I saved the ones there but I wanted to gather up as much as I could. I've yet to try my hand at creating my own but I'm thinking about it. Luke has a great tutorial on how to take a celeb's photo and mini-mize it.

Been working on some customs for some time now and I'm almost ready to unveil the group I did.

anyone have a generic X-Men chest decal that could be used for Banshee/Forge/Joseph?

If your going for the blue an yellow look most Forge customs I have seen used http://www.minimatedatabase.com/figure.php?i=724&n=Wolverine this as a base. Now this figure maybe hard to track down now days but you could always just cut the chest image from the picture. Then flatten the colours and your golden :)

Added two chest decals for Counsellor Troi to my Trek megapost on the previous page.

Also converted my Wizard and Enchantress designs into decals.

Wizard: Face, chest and back.

Enchantress: Face, chest and legs. Two leg decals are required, each is cut on the line on the centre to give an upper and lower leg.

It took me a while due to lack of clear reference art, but I finally got round to knocking up an updated chest for Magdalena from the IndieMates set. I just need to work out how the heck to fix Witchblade now :/

so question about waterslide decals:

Can I paint on the back of a clear decal before applying? (like cel painting, but on a decal)

Like let’s say I want a clear character to have red eyes, can I make a face decal, apply some red paint to the sticky side of the decal (so it’s under the print lines and thus any bleed would be better hidden) then stick it onto the head?

or is there too limited a work time/too fragile a work surface/too sticky a surface for that to work?

After reading Kabuki Vol 1: Circle Of Blood I wanted to design the rest of the Noh agents to go with the Kabuki minimate from the IndieMates set. Will stick them all in this one post as and when I get each character completed. Planning to put a picture of each mate when made in my customs thread too.

For information on the series and characters I direct you here

For a guide as to where everything goes on Scarab here

I can't imagine that would be a great idea. At that size lining things up would be quite difficult and you would have to apply the paint after you removed the backing sheet. If your making the decal couldn't you just add the red eyes to the clear decal?

In terms of the Futurama ones I think they, like the Simpsons, are hard to get right, as you're clearly never supposed to see them straight on.

I've added the rest of the Noh Assassins, and an updates version of my Kabuki decal, to my earlier post now.
