MisterMiracle
Target, eh? Well that's pretty awesome! I still need Wave 5 so I'll have to be on the lookout!
Shogi
I'm Guessing the stores around me haven't updated their inventory, the DPCI rings up as a $4 gogos trading card 5 pack
Onyx_6
That's weird. On my receipt it shows "Liscense." I should mention that this was the SuperTarget in my area (I have 5 Targets within 9 miles of me). Another Target I visited did not have this section at all. MisterPL
Target, eh? Well that's pretty awesome! I still need Wave 5 so I'll have to be on the lookout! If TRU Series 5 shows up at Target...

I want to say I've seen the gogos things on clearance so they're probably just repurposing a DPCI number to use for the WD Mates. Could be this is just a limited release thing like you said, may just be at Super Targets
DSTZach
Not sure why TRU series would show up there, unless TRU sold it to them. This may be through a third party. BTW, we found some old TRU series in our warehouse that I listed in the shop.
elmeaux
Sounds like when I found Hulk movie minimates at Target back when. That ended up being a 3rd party vendor.

Shogi
http://www.diamondselecttoys.com/ Looks like cases of series 1 & 2, great deal for people who were late to the party. Breaks down to 9.99 per 2 pack which is much better than the $30-$50 people are asking on ebay for the Glenn set alone
DSTZach
Go nuts! And it looks like a third party seller sells Minimates on Target.com (at least, I assume that's what it is), so maybe that's what's happening here. ANyone else spots any, let me know, I'd love to know how widespread this is, and if it's some sort of push for the return of TWD to TV. thenerdieststore
i saw a lot of non minimate collectors getting into those mass effect gamestop mates. it's great to see the brand branching out Between Mass Effect and Tmnt, those were what originally brought me into minimates. They reminded me of how awesome Megos were back in the day. The minimate brand feels like an authentic attempt to bring back the mego industry and I am 100% for that! Love minimates lol
MisterPL
Once I get Planet of the Apes Minimates, I'll be in full Mego nostalgia mode.

DSTZach
Kubrick made some great stuff. I was always tempted by it in Toy Tokyo. Never pulled the trigger, sets were pricey. Bought random Bearbricks, and Minority Report Kubricks instead. Looks like the POTA Kubricks are pretty cheap on eBay!
