  1. If we're talking about the live action show that ABC produced... that window probably existed in the lead-up to the show's premier. The second that first episode went to air, it killed any hope for The Inhumans being touched again for a long time.
  2. I think Inhumans is a tough sell right now. Maybe when the show came out there was a small window, but it was REAL small. And I think when we ultimately release the '90s X-Men sets, they will be companion sets like some have suggested. An apple that's worth the reach, as it were.
  3. Lockjaw as a pack in figure? I wouldn't mind a set of Inhumans but it needs to be said that the animated Medusa was superb & very un-animated looking & inexpensively plentiful on eBay . The same 2-pack had a rather dull (lazy design -sorry ) Black Bolt ...but he's OK . What I'm saying is ....I'm not sure an Inhumans set is timely?
  4. Had this thought late last night: In 2012 we received two sets of 4-packs meant to combine and form the core of Alpha Flight. On the back of each box was a solicitation image of the opposite set indicating "Coming Soon!" or "Also Available!" Even so much as recently we had the two Power Rangers box sets which were intended to be united to form a single front packaging image. Could the same model be applied to this way of releasing minimates? Plan two "waves" meant to be released within a short window of one another and intended to interact directly with each other? Example: A tandem release of Fantastic Four / Inhumans featuring two members of the Four and three members of the Inhuman Royal Family each. It could be done based on completing teams, commemorating storylines, etc.
  5. What about Inhumans getting a boxset. Lockjaw could be the micro figure. Black bolt and Lockjaw have Minimates from 2010. Then in the animated Walgreens Minimates we got Black bolt and Medusa in 2017. But we have yet to get any other Inhumans. Like Crystal, Triton, Gorgon, and Karnak. I don't who the anchor character would be thought.
  6. The solution to army builders in boxsets is a boxset of exclusively army builders. Like a S.H.I.E.L.D. themed boxset: with a SHIELD Agent (M and F chest piece), a HYDRA Soldier, an AIM Soldier, a Watchdogs Soldier and an ULTIMATUM Soldier. Or a space boxset with a Kree soldier (pink and blue heads), a Skrull soldier, a shi'ar soldier (M and F chest piece?), a badoon soldier and so on. There there's a bunch of uniforms that allow for this. 2000s era Guardians, a variety of X-Men, Fantastic Four. Sure, some require specific pieces (Star-Lord for example has a unique chest block) whereas others are actually simple add-ons or removals (a hula skirt on top of a female GOTG body for Mantis). Some off the road ones like Bug, Deathcry and Captain Universe could be squeezed into a GOTG boxset like that through alternate pieces for the base GOTG uniform body. Eh, i hate this thread i started. They changed the format and so all the great suggestions of Thunderbolts, New Warriors, Inhumans... all these 6 figure sets... basically something that felt extremely likely due to fitting the 6-figure format, something like the New Warriors, is now like we're being explicitly told we are probably never going to get them because we're only getting 5 figures.
  7. At this point I’d take a Crystal head packed into an FF pack. How a member of the Avengers, FF, Inhumans, and married into the X-men has never had a figure is actually obscene.
  8. Was there a 1990s Inhumans based story? Medusa is animated only.
  9. There was some interesting talk in another thread about Crystal never receiving an action figure that I felt deserved its own topic. What major characters out of the Marvel library have never received an action figure of any kind, ever? I'm talking about action figures only and not just 3D representation so Heroclix and statues wouldn't count. Mego, 90's Toybiz, Minimates (which have done an awesome job with character selection), Legends, etc. would count. And by major character I obviously don't mean A-listers but the character has to be of some importance. It can't be someone who only showed up in a backup strip in an annual. And these are distinct characters only, "this version of Iron Man" or "this Rogue costume" doesn't count. Crystal is a good one. Classic Lee/Kirby creation. Served as an Avenger. Ties to the Inhumans, Quicksilver and the Fantastic Four. Was a rare F4 member outside of the core four. I was going to say Quasar until I just realized he has 3 3/4" figure that just came out. So I'll say: Night Thrasher. Led the New Warriors. Had his own series when the Marvel line was strong enough to support multiple New Warriors spin-offs (http://marvel.com/news/comics/23696/marvel_75_new_warriors_heroes_for_the_90s) Most of his New Warriors teammates have been made in one form or another. Has nineties nostalgia. Has a great look for toy potential. Never had an action figure. Who else? And why?
  10. A screenshot of DST confirming we will see 82 for their virtual show as part of Comic-Con @ Home was posted on the MM FB group yesteraday. So, what better way to get the ball rolling than to speculate before the wave is revealed this weekend?! Personally, I'm interested in Minimates delving into HOX/POX/DOX, but I also know there's been a lot of requests in more recent speculation threads for a new FF wave, Inhumans, Generation X and more...
  11. I'm disappointed that there has only been one mention of the Inhumans. I mean, there's already six of them to begin with!
  12. the hellfire club set is a cool idea that i would get behind. and of course inhumans. an exiles assortment could throw popular members from different eras together and i would get that too. since i’m not particularly fond of the astonishing xmen that were already released and i never got them, i would definitely get an updated set if it was offered. throw in new mutants while we’re at it since i never got the box set or magik + warlock either haha i’m also a big supporter of the gargoyles idea, they could even have the box look like the castle maybe??
  13. - X-Men theme: flying Lockheed sculpt (that can be attached to a flight base) - Cosmic Marvel theme: Pip the Troll - Hulk theme: Gremlin - Thor theme: Throg with an Asgardian *cough*WarriorsThree*cough* boxset. - Avengers: smaller Minimate-sculpted versions of shrinking characters like Ant-Man, Wasp, Yellowjacket in various poses (punching, running, heroic stance, etc). - Inhumans: Since we already got a poseable version, a large molded Lockjaw if it meant we could actually get a boxset of all of the Kirby Inhumans. Another avenue to explore would be to provide accessories of importance instead of small characters. - Book of Vishanti, Darkhold - Cask of Ancient Winters, Crimson Gem of Cyttorak - Wand of Watoomb, Eye of Agamotto - Zodiac Key, Cosmic Cube (not built into a hand, Kirby Crackle effect)
  14. Ha. The Inhumans. The show that tried to save budget by A) shaving Medusa's hair, B ) keeping Triton out of the picture until the very end, C) deciding midway to forget Gorgon's hooves in favor of... big boots? and D) just by being really, really s****y. Weirdly, they burned through cash getting Lockjaw on screen and shooting in Hawaii, so who knows WTF they were thinking about budget? (but also, Lockjaw was injured for most of the show IIRC, so even he wasn't immune to plot-based savings shenanigans)
  15. Heres how they will look, not too bad i guess
  16. Marvel quick customs Scientist Supreme Inhumans Gorgon, Crystal, Karnak Madcap Punisher Misty Knight Baron Mordo Agent Phil Coulson Yo-Yo Rodriguez What If… Star-Lord T’Challa Spider-Punk
  17. OK. Time for the comic-based Inhuman royal family to make the release calendar? It was recently announced that they're launching an 8-episode series on ABC in the fall of 2017, whose first two episodes will be shown in IMAX theaters everywhere. The show is said to focus on Black Bolt and the royal family. It's an easy 8-figure comic wave, too: Black Bolt (new deco), Lockjaw (re-release), Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Maximus I am hopeful that the short 8-episode format, and the influx of cash from IMAX (which is co-producing along with Marvel & ABC), will elevate this above the usual ABC lesser-quality fare and general brand-watering-down that SHIELD and Agent Carter contributed to.
  18. Young Avengers would be awesome. And it feels like a real possibility for an upcoming wave, given then number of characters we've seen popping up in the MCU. Unfortunately, I feel like the ABC series has absolutely buried any hope of the Inhumans merch until Marvey/Disney decides to have another go at them.
  19. Agreed. I'd love to see the Inhumans rehabbed. (I'd also love to see the rest of the royal family mini-mated)
  20. Regrettably, I feel like if we didn’t get the Inhumans during the great “We don’t want to market X-Men let’s replace them with Inhumans” push we never will. Isn’t it wild that we live in a universe where the Inhumans failed so miserably we got an Eternals movie instead?
  21. The Dark Knight by Miller, Janson, and Varley Batman / The Joker Robin / Mutant Leader Superman / Armored Batman But that isn't happening anytime soon... A more realistic wish would be the Inhumans Saga Karnak / Gorgon Crystal / Medusa Black Bolt / Maximus the Mad ...and the Kree/Skull war Captain Marvel / Super-Skrull Vision / Scarlet Witch Goliath / Triton On second thought, maybe none of these are very realistic...
  22. My 2 cents on Rhino: I love it. But: he's a bit hard to find right now, and that figure (while great), mixes two eras. It's mostly classic, but has the studded gauntlets of the 80s Sinister Syndicate version, making it a cool amalgam but technically inaccurate for either. My current wishes, for Spidey, FF and Avengers-related: I know Chuck's a huge Spidey fan, and y'all have gone pretty deep, but there are still a few classic characters I'd love to see, some which round out villain teams: Madame Web, Beetle (80s), Boomerang (80s), Swarm, Shocker (classic), Mr. Hyde, The Owl For FF-family, there are The Inhumans, The Watcher, Dragon Man, Thundra, Diablo and Psycho-Man Overall, I see the greatest opportunity / representation gaps in Avengers Villains ex: Attuma, Wrecking Crew, Whirlwind, Grey Gargoyle, Count Nefaria, Graviton, Tiger Shark, Man-Ape, Batroc, Blacklash, Serpent Society, Ringmaster, many many more
  23. Eternals feels like a weak apology for screwing up The Inhumans. I still haven't made it through that... whatever the hell it was. I noticed some Shang-Chi toys on clearance at Target. Not everything.
  24. Hey folks. These are my first customs, I hope you enjoy them. Gorgon Karnak Triton (still needs a fin) The Inhumans
