I looked it up, used some superglue to weld the cheap ass plastic "arms" and got him back together and working. For as much as that figure cost, I shouldn't have to be repairing the main selling point (PERS).

My DX Joker's PERS system broke and he's cross-eyed now. Guess I'm gonna have to open that head up and see what's inside. Saw a few home fixes for the problem...

I got my Guardian yesterday. Still haven't opened the shipping box! haha Maybe tonight after the kids go to bed. I still haven't decided if I will open this package. It could very well be my most valuable toy!

My waitlist from about 6 minutes after going on sale shipped. I've heard some that actually got the preorder in havent shipped yet... strange.

I had two figures with issues: -Silver Age Angel with a chipped belt piece and a wing that wouldn't stay on -X-Factor Cyclops with a poorly painted pelvis I contacted DST Customer Service (Chris Myers specifically) and he said he'd check on those parts. I received an email a few days later saying that they had them and they would get them in the mail to me that week. No pieces and no responses to the numerous emails since. On the last one, I mentioned being a member here and saying that I was sure that this wasn't the way people have been handled in the past. Still nothing. That treatment and the nosedive in quality is why I've quit collecting Minimates.

I got my DX Joker and Hot Toys Predator 1 this week. My birthday is next week and the Joker was my supposed to be my birthday gift from my girlfriend. She broke up with me on Monday and Joker arrived at my door on Tuesday. He is now called the Consolation Prize!

I remember seeing Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman for the first time. I was probably in first or second grade. This was literally my first love. After that episode, girls were no longer icky. (...although the girls at school didn't have hooters like that!)

QC issues a-plenty, huh? That's why I ditched 'Mates some years ago. Sounds like it's coming back full force! I also have been awaiting a couple replacement pieces that were damaged right out of the box. I was told they'd get them right out. That was in February and they haven't responded to any of the several emails since! I'm sorry, but if you guys keep buying them and "give up" on getting your parts, you only encourage them to continue giving you shoddy toys (while raising the price) and ignore your emails when you notify them. I guess this is goodbye again, 'Mates. Maybe I'll see you again if you get your sh*t together... (...or I can buy you at TRU where you can be easily returned as defective.)
