  1. Lol, hey, I've been looking for a complete Ares since that wave was live in stores! I have a few pieces, but wasn't able to finish him. T_T

And why do you think I want a Ronan? tongue.png

I hear you, I'm starting to lose my geek cred. I still haven't seen GotG and who knows when I will? I'm heading to Disneyland tomorrow for a week and by the time I get back it probaby won't be in theaters anymore confused.gif Those are some nice figures minijames. I kind of skipped over the Puck wave, although I loved the old Alpha Flight series from the 80's.That Archangel is nice. Too bad they didn't do a unmasked head too. I've seen some nice customs of Warren though.

I'm from Los Alamitos, right down the street (Katella) from Disneyland and you should check out some of the toy shops around Anaheim because there are quite a few. The corner of Beach/Ball has like 4 toy shops, My-D Pins & Collectibles being the best for ML. Phat Collectibles on Ball/Euclid is good too, just more pricey.

  2. Case came in. I really love all of these figures.

I traded Puck away already, and within the next week I'm going to trade the two Cyclopses for an Infinite Magneto and Jubilees arm. I'll probably buy it again.

I don't understand why this Sabretooth shelfwarms in comic shops. The head sculpt is great and I love the Hyperion body, even with the wierd costume it's still Sabretooth. Is he not cool anymore? I don't understand kids.

Wolverine is also great, I gave my nephew one and hope he enjoys it. I gave him Sabretooth as well since I wont ever be able to sell it. Oh, and because if I spent $180 on toys and didn't give him any I'd be a dick. I'm still sitting on a MOC Wolverine.

Emma ended up being $80 basically, but she is far and away my favorite. So much better than the first one, I just need to whip up a cape. I know how to sew, so I don't have to buy the terrible first figure just for that part of it, and it will probably end up looking better.

  3. Definitely, and Venus has a little bit too much of one. Dont like how you can see the ball at the top of her neck. That, and the fact that their hair impedes the movement of the stands, make Venus and Mars the biggest disappointments. Venus made up for it with accessories so if I had to choose a least favorite it would be Mars.

  4. I hear you. I've either traded or bought lots to play catch up. Sounds like we're in the same boat. I've been trying to locate the X-Force exclusive for quite some time. Although I never picked up the new Emma. Of course now I'm regretting I haven't. Did you pick up the old White Queen to give her a cape? That, and the BAF piece are the only reason to have that early figure. It is amazing how they've turned things around with their figures.

If I do pick up the whole figure just for the cape it would likely be the diamond version, but I'm hoping someone just has an extra.

Hasbros first Emma was what made me quit collecting Legends the first time, I really hate that figure.

  5. One of the things that has kept me from collecting Marvel Legends in the Hasbro era up until this point has been the absolutely ridiculous prices for characters (mostly female) that I love. Emma Frost's remake at $90 made me want to stab somebody, so I just sucked it up and bought a case of 8 from BBTS for what equated to $20 a figure. Thankfully I think the extras will sell/trade fast for me and I can bask in the glory of a fairly priced White Queen.

Psylocke is another one that kills me. The head on the SDCC X Force set is beautiful but the cheapest I've found the set for was an unjustifiable $160.

  6. Kinda psyched I'm the first member to post a picture of all 5 together haha. I've been obsessed for about a year now, so it was a big moment for me as a collector. I love them. They are the action figure holy grail to me, and I will keep them forever. I paid for them all by selling old figures (Thanks to everyone for the Amazon giftcards haha) and obtained Jupiter by trading my figuarts Green Ranger to a local toy shop. They got the better deal, but I got a streamlined MMPR collection and the last Sailor Scout I needed and I didn't even have $45 yesterday.

  7. I bought Stryfe and have searched high and low for Storm with no luck. I really want Storm, if anybody has one let me know, I also need the BAF piece. Stryfe is available if anyone is interested, I'd sell him for $15 shipped.

I also bought a ROML Jean Grey from Amazon today, plan on putting Jubilee's fireworks on her until I get all the pieces. I'm hoping to get the arms without having to buy that Cyclops, I really don't care for it and Magneto is going to be as big of a pain to find as Storm I think.

I'm super into Marvel Legends right now, they just really blew me away at SDCC and I'm looking foreward to their product this year. They won me back. Carol Danvers has always been one of my favorite characters so I'll definitely be getting both of these

I'm still hoping we see Binary and Classic (with alternate Karla Sofen head) variants in the near future. I'm also a sucker for Bendis New Avengers so you know I'm stoked on Spider Woman, her Toybiz figure was a mess.

  8. I got the Blue Ranger from Amazon yesterday. I enjoy the figure though it has only made me more anxious for the Yellow one and to complete the team.

I keep my figures on my entertainment center, I really like how my displays are coming together.

  9. Wow, full-color Neptune and Uranus look incredible. Is that metallic paint?

All of the Sailor Scouts have this type of paint, I'd say it's more pearlescent than metallic, but Neptune and Uranus' color scheme do make it pop. I'm excited.

I'm buying every Sailor Moon figuarts and I really hope they get to Tuxedo Mask. I feel like his gender puts him at a disadvantage in this line.

  10. Without getting too pedantantic, they were released under the 'X-Men' brinding, rather than the 'Marvel Legends' branding, despite having been made by the same people to the same standards as the ML range.

The X-Treme Rogue was a good deal better looking than her poor, ML predecessor.

I feel like that's like saying there was never a DCUC Poison Ivy because it was actually DCIE. Same s*** different name haha.

I might get Storm if I see her at retail. I imagine she would be easy to pawn off once I got over the initial excitement, and the Jubilee piece could probably pay for it itself.
