I think because I personally have dealt with crazy woman who have messed up ideas about what they should do (like, for example, getting involved in a polyamorous relationship with the parents of your daughters boyfriend, essentially making them step siblings) while ignoring the needs of and psychologically damaging their children is the reason I found her so irritating. Just like someone who may have had their best friend try to kill them was annoyed by Shane, or someone with a total bitch for a mom was annoyed by Lori. But thats what I like about it, everyone pays for their moral shortcomings eventually. Carol is MUCH better on the TV show, I agree.

I think Mattel should do a TRU exclusive 'best of MOTUC' line of SINGLE figures including rereleases of the main heroes and villians since they arent reissuing figures anymore. He-Man Skeletor Man-At-Arms She-Ra Beast Man Teela I think they could do it, and rereleasing older figures at mass market would generate more interest in the line (therefore extending it) because I'm pretty sure absolutely noone wants to start their collections off with f***ing Clamp Champ.

Being a completionist with TWD Minimates, and having just finished TPB 7, I am much less excited for Carol than I was initially. She suuuuuuucks. In a world where everyone is seething with emotional issues, she stood out as especially crazy and dependant. I suppose the only validating thing about her character is that she did us all a favor and made herself lunch for that Pole Zombie.

Had BD Tyreese in my hands, 3 of them were at my LCS. I couldnt bring myself to pay $15 for it, especially when I already have Farmer Zombie and I still need Dexter, Glenn and Carol from this series, all regular price. Someday.....

I updated my White Queen with an ASM Gwen Stacy head and Sue Storm hair, in the resulting hairswap I also got a more Jessica Alba-esque Sue. Dark Phoenix with a BQ Jean Grey face, Human Torches accessories and MvC3 Phoenix hair

I also love the cartoon but Jeans hair always bothered me. This is a pretty good representation of the look but the look itself is so bad! Haha. That said, the part that bothered me most was that her ponytail came out of a hole in the back of a head condom that left the top of her hair exposed. What was she thinking when she got suited up everytime? Yours at least gets rid of that non sensical aspect of her costume. Im ripping on 90's costumes more than anything, hope you arent offended.

Bought Hershel and Riot Gear Rick today. If they would have had Tyreese I would have purchased him but I dont know whether I would have put back Hershel or Rick. I like Hershel alot but I wouldnt want two of the same zombie when I could have 4 new minimates. And speaking of extra zombies, here are a few things I thought to do with my variants extra zombies (using common or extra parts) Lesbian Couple Zombies Lunch Lady Zombie Punk Female Zombie Aurora, Northstar and series 5 Juggernaut hair (because farmer zombie has no head hole) I imagine with the farmer zombie from the SDCC 4 pack a trio of doofy looking redneck zombies will look awesome. Also, I added fireballs to my Burned Zombie

Plan on getting Herschel and Riot Gear Rick tomorrow. Ive had to scale back my spending after I got started, about $300 since April. Might get Tyreese instead of Herschel....of course I'm at the mercy of what is available. All I know is this $20 is burning a hole in my pocket and I'm spending it on Minimates.

Damn, Amazon has the Aurora set for $7 dollars......for that price Im probably going to get another just for parts. The hand holding piece, Auroras head/hairs, Shaman's hair and the flight stands are worth that much to me..........

Zombie Shawn!!!! Rick looks schnazzy as hell with that ascot too......I'm excited. The more TWD threads the better in my opinion. This one is the main thread, and the appropriate place to post pictures of (any) Walking Dead minimates, as well as speculation on upcoming waves, distribution, etc.. The series 3 thread, and the two other threads about the 4 packs r specifically for those series/sets, and will go away when interest has waned. There will naturally be alot of overlap but MMMV is still one of the tidiest, friendliest forums Ive ever been a part of (WFIGS and The Fwoosh just make me angry with how shitty they are).

I cant decide if I like that or my way better......on one hand, this will be Rick's 5th minimate so shortpacking him makes sense. One arm Riot Gear Governor doesnt have the army building potential that Rick does, especially with Rick being packed with a generically uniformed zombie (Guard zombie is the first zombie I actually WANT multiples of). On the other hand (where there are still two hands) Regular Governer and Michonne seem like theyre going to warm pegs. They are packed with very cool zombies but I think Luke and other retailers will have to mark them down to move the versions that come with the Woodbury goons.

The Spice Girls made such an impression on pop culture that we grown ass men brought them up as part of a discussion about super hero action figures nearly 20 years after their debut. I'm sure that Cap AND Bucky both know they are, and probably cite them for the rise in female super heroes in the late 90's/early 2000's long after Ginger Spice left and fucked up the whole recipe. Back to discussing two inch figures now........look at my Spice Girls display! These were purchased at the 99 cent store and because they were produced after they became a quartet, I had to repaint a Baby Spice to be Ginger Spice. Oh yeah, I'm a fan with very little shame about it.

Series 4 is a little irritating in that you will end up with an extra Michonne and regular clothes Governor if you are a completionist. On the bright side, that should make the TRU exclusives easier to come by.
