Silly Gooser Toys and Collectibles was founded in 2003. In 2006 SGTC had an exclusive Minimate Blank at the Emerald City ComicCon in Seattle. The blanks were translucent Emerald Green and Cobalt with Space Needle ECCC logos on them. I have a few of these left and will be listing them in my eBay store soon.

  1. I will be donating something from my pre production bin. Not quite sure what yet, but it will hit me before the deadline to get it to you. Also, all of my auctions going forward is donating anywhere between 10% to 100% to the Japan Relief Fund. I'm listing cool Minimate stuff slowly but surely and a percentage of every sale goes to the Japan Relief Fund. It's what I can do to give as I have no real money. It's all toys and I'm surrounded by them. So they go to good homes that will love them and funds go to Japan and to get me moved to Europe. I blame my creativity, imagination, andobsession with Japanese toys two a childhood where any TV time was spent watching Starblazers (Yamato), Gundam, Robotech, Voltron, (both vehicle force and lion force) From the age of three I have loved Japanese Robots that people operate. And I still do to this day. Condensing my collection was something that needed to happen for my move to Europe this year. My eBay Store is the perfect way for me to quickly condense my collection and spread it out amongst everyone else who loves Minimates and toys as much as I do, and at the same time generate funds to help the people of Japan and get me moved. Thank you for all of the support. Lots of people from this board have been getting items from my store for years and it's greatly appreciated. Minimates Collector Pack 1 Japan Relief Fund Auction Minimates Collector Pack 1 Minimates Collector Pack 2 Japan Relief Fund Auction Minimates Collector Pack 2 I have more of these collector 2 sets, but after 7 they won't have the AA Collector Mate or the 2.5 White clear Head in them. So people that get in early get extra stuff. There are a total of 6 more. 4 with Green bag AA Collector mate, and 2 with purple bag. All will have a random BSG Prototype Minimate, and a Marvel Minimates Final Production Sample. Oh, and a AA Collector Coin is also included.
  2. I can donate a production sample for Charitymate 5. Also right now 10% to 25% of all the proceeds of my eBay auctions are going to help people in Japan. Let me know when the deadline is to submit my donation to this cause. Thank you, Jaycen
  3. Don't let him fool you, when it comes to blanks, I'm the most interested! As a side note, I even own a Create-A-Mate. I have a majority of the Create A Mates I believe. They were given to me to display in my Minimates collection. I've not done that. They have remained in the box I was given them in with the exception of looking at them once a year for the few years I've had them. I'm certain I have a few of those white 3" minimates as well. I will do some more digging. My plan is to finally ebay virtually all the toys I have and get them into good homes that will actually display them instead of letting them be trapped in a box forever. Plus, I'm moving oversees and prefer not to lug all this stuff with me. I still have other responsibilities here in New York, but my goal is to have at least 5 new items up a day. This will be a mixture of Minimates, statues, figures, etc. Most items will start at .99 cents. I will do my best to get this stuff listed and available to all of you. Take care, Jaycen
  4. There were only 25 of these sets produced. 2 of them leaked out as you can see one of the sets went to the UK. I'm keeping 3 for myself, and the remaining 20 are now available for purchase via eBay. If you want one just click the link in the bottom left hand corner. All proceeds are going towards my trip to San Diego. More info in my new topic post about these sets.
  5. Hmmm, yeah, as I said in another thread, the day HASBRO gives up their rights to make 2" Star Wars figures, will probably be the day oil runs out and plastic is no longer available to produce toys. Believe me, I more than anyone would like to see Star Wars Minimates. But it is extremely unlikely. HASBRO's 2" Star Wars line is doing insanely well, so that leaves Minimates with no shelf space in the aisle at mass retailers. Sadly, Star Wars minimates will be left up to the customizers.
  6. Wow, this enthusiasm is great. I just wish it were possible to make Star Wars Minimates. Unfortunately, the day HASBRO gives up their rights to make 2" figures will probably be the same day that oil runs out and plastic is no longer available to manufacture toys. That being said, I sure would like some Shadow Trooper Minimates.
  7. Both of these Napster Minimates are currently in my personal collection. I've considered parting with them as I have far too many toys and can always use funds to pay New York rent each month. Napster wanted to do more branding of their name. Art Asylum developed plush, pillows, Minimates, etc all designed around the Napster Kitty. Hope that helps. -Jaycen
  8. Yep, that's my boy. And yep, he's been selling my collection of toys I left in Seattle when I moved to New York at the end of 2006. My collection was really insane as well. But over the years it dwindled with each address change. Now the majority of it has been sold and the rest is in the process of being sold by my bestest friend. Thank you Nick. I, of course, have a ever growing collection here in New York as well. So from time to time you will see me parting with things. I just completed a huge exodus of Transformers, Minimates, etc. It felt great getting this stuff into other folk's collections. I am moving this week into a new apartment, and the less stuff I have to bring with me the better. You'll probably see a few more gems being listed on eBay this weekend. Take care, Jaycen
  9. Nice to hear from you Jaycen and that is indeed a great QC of Indy. I have to echo Ivan's statement here though - the hat still seems way out of proportion. And just out of curiosity (and if you can say) what aspects of the FAFDM box set (or entire Dollars trilogy line) did you work on? Just the reference for the artist. I've been working for DST at the New York office since last July. Volunteering prior to that. But yeah one of my duties is gathering all the reference for the artists. Thanks for asking. -Jaycen
  10. Nope. Can't. Just using the parts. The set comes out soon though. I strongly recommend picking it up. A lot of work goes into every project, but these MGM sets I feel have the most detail yet. I know I personally poured my heart into this project. So I can't wait for them to get released. They are truly beautiful. -Jaycen
  11. Hey guys, I have not been on this board in forever. For that I apologize. I've been working far too many hours and rarely visit the Interweb. This is another one of my 5 minute customs. And the only reason it takes 5 minutes is because that's the time needed to find all the parts. So here is Indiana Jones using Frodo's torso, Spiderman 3's Sandman's legs and feet, Brock's head(other heads might be better, but I simply wanted to throw a head on this thing), and some parts from the upcoming MGM "For a Few Dollars More" 4 Pack. Clint's gun belt and hat, and El Indio's gun. This 4 Pack is stunning, and everyone should order theirs today...right this second. They are now my favorite Minimates. Anyway, I'll stop pimping product and get on with the photo. Again, the head could be different, and a whip is needed. But for a quick 5 minute custom I don't think it's too bad. The thing I love most about Minimates is there ability to become other characters by simply taking them apart. Parts List: 1. Frodo's torso and arms 2. Spiderman 3 Sandman's legs and feet 3. Spiderman 3 Brock's head(use just about any head though) 4. MGM For a Few Dollars More Blondie's Gun Belt, and hat 5. MGM For a Few Dollars More El Indio's Gun
  12. Well, I am happy to say that even though I am selling every blank I have, and just about every Minimate I have, I am keeping the TBT Bombermate. I love it, and it pushed me over the edge to have my own exclusive. Mine is still in it's sealed bag and looks brilliant. Also, it has my old user name on it, EchoBastTC. So that's really kick ass too. I could never part with it. Don't get me wrong the money would be great, but the joy and friendship that the Bombermate has come to represent can never be bought nor replaced. So mine is staying in my collection, and probably being buried with me. Note to self: Remember to add that to the will and testament. Don't want greedy grandchildren getting their hands on it.
  13. OK, I love everyone's enthusiasm on this subject. However, I will tell you that if a MMMV exclusive were to happen, unless we had tons of money to throw at DST, it would not be Marvel or DC related. Nor would it be LOTR Wave 3 since that license has expired. It would most likely need to be a blank with the MMMV logo on it's chest. I am an eternal optimist, but you're looking at $10,000+ easily for any licensed exclusive. Total cost for my exclusive was just over $6000. That includes every cost that goes into making a blank with one tampo. DC and Marvel will be way more expensive with paint and more tampos and accessories. Not to mention the approval process from both Marvel and DC. It could be done, but we'd have to raise some significant funds to do it. I'll gladly help out if this is something that everyone really wants to make happen. Even if you got half of us members to donate $25.00 or more, we'd well be on our way to making a kick ass exclusive. And maybe instead of recouping everyone's individual cost, they would simply get the exclusive. Then MMMV could absorb all of the profit and keep this site going for awhile. It's a great idea, just needs to be thought about extensively and serious fund raising efforts would need to occur. -Jaycen
  14. Groundhog day? T. My only complaint is that I don't think I'll have lots of money to spend on beer this year in San Diego. So Timbo might get harassed by me to take me out for drinks. So, this is why everyone must go bid on that damn Prototype Javelin I listed last night. Also, check out my thread dedicated to it for updated info on where the proceeds are going. As for other complaints, I really have none. I simply wish the world to be peaceful like in Children of Men. Now that's my vision of a future.
  15. -Ady, as soon as I get my second job lined up, I will absolutely donate funds. If this site was at war with another site, I'd gladly put my life on the line for you man. For as cheesy as that sounds, I am serious. Take care, Jaycen
