i love the hint game. so 3 new characters but in flat animated style.........wow. and based on an episode....... well, it could be anything really but i hope the repaint is soundwave!

gonna put this out there, am i the only one who would love a CARDIAC figure? is he an anti hero? probably not really........ but love me some erik larsen spider-man!

so, i'm always trying to think of cool repaints that could be done with these molds and i came across SHATTERED GLASS. where the good guys are bad and vice versa. hasbro seems to do it every couple of years. i think the first time was for a transformers convention con exclusive a long time ago. @DSTZach i know you said there's a con set already for sdcc (which better have the last damn seeker included) but for next con or just later on please consider this idea.

i loved the packaging BUT i found it wasteful since i intended to open the set. making it resealable would have made it even more costly. i would have done it as a con exclusive instead of regular release. the VHS packaging i think really pops though! or what the TMNT did. i can put them back in or just save the box for the heck of it b/c it looks good on its own.

Just let me know what i can do to make another set happen. 😓

i'm going to guess that the sexual visual conservatism is a push at international marketing. now, i am saying that with zero evidence but i've been to saudi arabia and dubai and other countries where comic books and other more typical western entertainment forms are growing in popularity. it was a huge deal when female wrestlers went to saudi. i remember being warned about taking comics there b/c they could get me arrested if they show too much skin. i went to a supermarket and laughed my ass off b/c they had a magazine section with US magazines and there was a wedding magazine with big censorship stickers all over the boob areas of all the dresses! now, the good news is disney isn't holding back on hiding homosexuality so i could be completely wrong. but it is easier to hide a kiss or relationship than it is to hide an outfit. if he looked anything like his brother i'm going to go w/ 'no'.

i worked with a guy that was.......kind of the steotypical texas republican. nice guy but i could tell we'd disagree on stuff certain topics that might be sensitive to discuss at the office so i always kept conversations pretty shallow. one time though he asked me what i thought about the deadpool movie and if it was appropriate to take his 6 year old son to the theater to see it. i told him it was rated r and there was a lot of blood and silly violence. "i don't care about that stuff -- he sees that all the time. i'm asking if it shows boobs or anything like that". man........what a fucked up point of view. so i told him there was a scene in a strip club that showed some boobs. after that i avoided talking to him. oddly enough though (and proof you never know someone until you know someone) i tried messing with him by implying i was bi-sexual b/c i honestly thought it would get him to stop talking to me. instead he tried to set me up with his brother.

i appreciate your efforts, Zach. hopefully sometime this year. if anything i'd love to see what you proposed. this will be the first sdcc i miss since 2008 i think so at least i'm not missing a GI JOE set.

picked up my set yesterday and they are nice!!!! my only concern is the mask on electra -- if i put it on will i ever be able to take it off again? that thing is snug! i may use an extra head i have lying around to test it on.

let the speculation begin!! jk - i'm still excited about this set and the next to start guessing about what is coming late this year or early next. but only been done animated.............interesting.........that was around in the 90's........probably going to have to go through my sets to see who has only been done animated that was around back then. man-thing is the first one that comes to my mind but can't think of a famous story he was in at that time. focusing on this set i think the Typhoid Mary was one of the ones i was most excited about. everyone else looks awesome too.
