  1. I cannot believe I did not see my favorite compatible figure. The Marvel Legends BAF of the Sentinel is awesome, big, and really looks like it is in a good scale. It is very close if not the same scale as one of the earlier posts of the sentinel head a few pages back. Of course it is a rather expensive accessory if you do not already own one, since it was majorly sought after. I have mine trying to kill Wolverine. Of course I have about 25 more Wolverines, so what is one Wolverine in the great world of Minimates? There are some great ideas out there. I guess I will have to walk around TRU with a minimate in my pocket just in case I see something good. Thanks all for sharing. Can't wait to see what else comes up.
  2. Somehow I totally missed that there was a second wave of the Wolverine MM coming out. Now that I see there are only four new figures out the the series, I am not surprised I missed it. I grabbed the two sets to add to my collection.
  3. Has anybody else come across the problem of Mary Marvel showing up without her skirt on? AND... My Guy Garner came with a double stamp for his ring. That is two problems in one series for me. I hope that is not the start of how this line is going to be.
  4. There is a pretty big influx of plain clothed people, so it would definately be easy to make some variations from easy part swaps. That will be a lot of fun.
  5. That is one gritty Batman. Great Job. Always exciting to see this thread updated.
  6. Well, now that we are totally off topic, thanks for the help. I studied the box for a while to try and find the strange device, but I could not. Funny how they never actually took a picture of the actual item sold. Guess the final answer is "It is Nothing." I will add it to my Lego pile and continue to build my batcave which is now about four feet long. When I finally get my Stealth Batwing, I am going to go another foot at least. Where in the world am I going to stick the thing?
  7. I just got the Batcave in the mail today, and put it together. Pretty cool looking, and went together fast and easy. I was wondering if anybody who has this batcave knows what the seperate structure with the spinning clear blue block is? It does not have any explanation in the directions, and other than the blue part spinning around, it does not seem to have any apparent use. Any clues?
  8. Outside of that little snippet of news from ToyFare, we really don't have any news regarding this line. For all we know, the ToyFare news was old and the line has been scrapped. Time will tell. I think this is one of AA's solo projects, and they're notoriously slow when it comes to releasing new information. So long as they're slow because they're hard at work on making the minis I love, I'm pretty forgiving though. I am with you 316. Leak the info nice and slow as long as the work is being done. It doesn't really take much info on this board to really get the people chatting.
  9. I thought it was really funny. I like the hench men getting out of Jokers truck. I thought it was going to be like a clown car with tons of guys getting out. I am excited to see the insuing fight. Glad Robin showed up to help out.
  10. Rumors I'm hearing are that they're the same. Rumors also say they might have some at WonderCon too... T. Oh man, I am going to WonderCon on Sunday, but I am sure if they have any there, they will all be gone by then.
  11. The article says "Modern Speed Sr." Does that mean it is Speed's dad? or is Speed supposed to be older, and then this is his son? I don't really know anything about this modern Speed Racer, I just know I am happy to see Trixie. My Speed is a little lonely without a helicopter or airplane.
  12. I am just glad they are re-doing them in 2" mates. I would really like to see how they create a klingon. No sloping heads in Minimate form yet.
  13. 1. I love Stuckakid. (and yes I would marry it if I were not already married). 2. These figures are great. Not crazy about Star Saphire... I am an avid comic reader and I don't even know who in the world she is. 3. Packaging. Though I do like the Marvel boxes better, it is good to see the characters in the blisters since you can actually see the shape of the character as well as all of their accessories. Such as the Bruce Wayne hair. I knew his mask came off as soon as I saw that he came with hair. Overall some good characters, and some great characters. I still think the best is yet to come.
  14. What ever happened to "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."? I think they look great.
  15. Welcome. I also joined in January. My collection is nearing 80 now. I tell you, it is a landslide. Nearly every flat surface in my house has a MM on it. You chose a good time to join. Lots of cool stuff to add to your collection coming all the time now.
  16. There are parts of the country where I can buy a house just with the money I paid in interest in the last year on my house. But along the same lines, my house has also appreciated a lot over the past two and a half years of owning. It is a decision that has to be made of pay a little and sell for a little, or pay a lot and make a lot. but, it really doesn't matter if you don't ever want to move anyway.
  17. Well my house here in California, the Bay Area was $650,000. It is a 980 sq. ft. house built in 1947. The house needed major work, and we spent probably around $50,000 over the past two and a half years fixing nearly everything... new plumbing, wiring, sheetrock, painting, siding, insulation, and refinishing the hardwood floors.
  18. We might just have to start building ships out of Legos and the like. At least that way they would be in continuity with the C3 stuff... and a reason for the little holes in the feet.
  19. I agree. That is a great start. Get that camera to stay still and you will really have something going. Before you know it, you are going to have elaborate sets built. How long did you work on it? Every time I see one of these, I think about doing one.
  20. I sure do hope that Venom comes with the tongue, otherwise it is a waste of a hole in the face. Otherwise, those are pretty cool looking characters.
  21. Nice Haul!!! Yeah, you have to start thinking about him. I can see how that would weigh on your mind a little.
  22. 68 all since Jan 07. (not including DC Wave 1 currently being shipped, so 76 including those). Late start, but amassing an army quickly.
  23. Same goes for me. I like 52 a lot. Really good stories. I think Justice League is better. Really cool stuff going on there. I have also enjoyed WW. I just heard from my comic guy today that they messed up with WW #5. Apparently it is supposed to be the last part of the first story arc. Now it is going to be a stand alone story before the second arc starts in #6. We are going to have to wait for an annual or one-shot to see the conclusion of the first arc. Which means we will not get to see Diana become Wonder Woman again in Wonder Woman. Not a huge surprise since we already have been watching Diana as Wonder Woman in Justice League.
  24. How does that stuff happen???? And I know it does. As a model builder, I have spent many an hour on the floor looking for tiny pieces for a car. I have even dropped a Sigma 6 sword, and have had it gone missing for a long while. I think there is a missing law of physics that deals with the falling of toy and hobby pieces.
