Wow 5 year aniversary Necro! - For want of a better spot to put these I thought here was as good a place as any. After playing with the build a figure booth at C2E2, I kind of got the QC bug again and now have a slew of new 'These exist because they amused me' QC's Most are silly and will end up back in the parts bin at some point but I really like a couple of them, so thought I'd share. Yep... I actually looked at them when I got home and there were some great pix, so something must have happened since then Heck I even posted 3 to Facebook... I really need to get into a better habit of backing my pix up straight away. The fact that I know they were there and I haven't taken any since gives me hope for recovery. T.

I just went to look at & post some of the photo's I took of the protos Luke had at the meetup and found out my memory card is jacked up So not only did I (probably)loose these pix but a lot of those I took at the meetup and of Chicago on Sunday morning. I do have some access to recovery software and will try to see what I can get back over the weekend. T.

The thing that is interesting is that if you read the 'complaints' first cause of action is that it's actually worded as "Misrepresentations and the failure to deliver rewards" While the second is "Failure to Refund". I think the biggest thing here is the use of the word 'rewards' as the point of contention in a legal document. (5.2 a & b. ) specifically. I'm no legal eagle but have read enough of this type of document to know that that wording could make a huge impact in how people see rewards for group funding going forward. T.

If you don't tear the packaging open with "Joyous gusto to free your new miniature friends" then you're not doing it right As for packaging in general I do appreciate all the art etc that goes into the packaging, esp for some of the 4 packs but don't keep packaging for anything that's opened... it's just kipple! I think you're looking at it from the wrong angle, I'm just seeing a pattern of them spreading things out as they did with most other licenses. If they put all the 'heavy hitters' in the first wave then sales would dry up after that because everyone had all the characters they wanted. It took us how many waves to get a Thor for marvel mates? I'm sorry you feel that way MisterMiracle, but feel the title of the thread is a little misleading. You're frustrated but do you honestly believe that the forums have turned sour because someone hasn't responded to you in a week? Trades take work from both sides to run smoothly & if you're not happy with how someone is conducting a trade with you and haven't finalized a deal you can always walk away from it. Personally I haven't encountered any issues, I think it helps to have realistic expectations and understand that we all have busy schedules. These are just toys and a hobby, so are not the highest priority in some of our lives, myself included. I don't trade very much these days and am mindful of who I will trade with when I do, I'd say there were a couple of dozen people here who I wouldn't hesitate to trade with and have never had issues with those guys.
