darn, i was hoping for a Marvel Now Uncanny X-Men. oh well, better than not having any x-mates i suppose. im intrigued. i wonder what made DST decide to go with this when there are tons of newer x-teams waiting to be made.

i like the one-eyed zombie that came with Michonne. it's the first minimate i've seen with half of it's body decomposing! when i first opened the pack i couldn't stop inspecting it. it's got one hollow eye socket and the decomposing parts looks like flesh left out in the sun to dry ... like i dunno ... beef jerky. it's disgusting! in a good way. the intestine he's holding is also an awesome addition to the figure. *2nd prize only

reading all those stuff kinda made me feel sad. pretty sure a marvel now Uncanny X-Men Box Set (Cyclops, Emma, Magik & Magneto) announcement would help me recover. seriously though, you can't please everyone and i'd like my DST Rep to have a personality. i havent met a collector who doesnt talk crap about another toylines and even if it's coming from a DST Rep, i personally think people shouldnt get offend especially if he's commenting as a toy collector. going back to topic, i'd like to see some pictures of Angela.Maybe photos would change people's mind about her. based on the photos though, she kinda fits with the Femme Fatales minimates.

not sure if there's aleady a thread for this, but i'd love to see some minimate control arts from DST. like the ones that got made & ones that didn't.

i'd love to see how minimates are made. maybe it's similar to Lego? i've seen the NatGeo feature on Lego and it blew my mind!

i thought about nail polish, but i was afraid that it might not be compatible with the minimate plastic. so acrylic nail polish then?

since we're not getting an updated Diamond Emma Frost anytime soon, i'd like to ask the customizers for ideas on how to paint the avx emma frost into her diamond form. i previously tried painting the flesh parts of an astonishing emma & xmfc emma with a Mr.Color "shine silver(metallic)" paint. it has that silver glittery effect but it doesnt really translate into "glittering diamond." it looks like she's made of a shimmering metal. and i really can't find any acrylic glitter paint locally. any tips/ideas how to give it a more diamond-y effect? please?
