  1. More like I'm surprised we didn't get it for the 75th anniversary of the start of the war (1939) in 2014 while SHIELD and FURY have been hot topics but that they still have time since the end of the war was in 45 they can do 75 years in 2020.
  2. I haven't stepped foot in a Walmart in years but I have seen them in other stores like TRU. I am just a bitter Betty whenever anything DC/Buffy gets made that isn't a mate.
  3. Clearly, there is a market but I am surprised there is more of a market for those then there are for Minimates.
  4. I am actually surprised we didn't get a box set yet of the Commandos for the 75 anniversary of WW2 or in 2020 for the anniversary of the end of the war.
  5. This is exciting but it pisses me off when I don't get to see DC or the DCTV universe. Or Buffy. Especially when I see those figures being made in other properties and done poorly. Exhibit A:
  6. Again late to the party but I don't really have a favourite Wolverine and a lot of unfavourites. I would love to get a Fang though.
  7. I did the same thing! And then I saw this And went crazy tracking down these PVC toys. LOL maybe it is why I can't stand the minimate X-Factor Jean since the hair isn't big enough and the costume isn't red. I would play that they were scattered through the universe and as I found them the other characters found each other. That and I made paper dolls of the characters.
  8. I used this face from Ezekiel from the Walking Dead line And a spare Strike Force Storm hair piece. Hail Ivan.
  9. Yeah I just made my own with a SHIELD body and then a Walking Dead Figure.
  10. Yes please BUT they have all been made excluding Hepzibah. But man did I love those toys!
  11. That's sad. Most of this team got figures in the Toy Biz universe. Except for Double Trouble, Tygerstrike, and Yeti the rest are collecting dust in my toy chest.
  12. I am HERE for that. I loved that line and still read the comics from time to time. I also got the toys. Starhawk, Chunky, Nikki, Aleta, Martinex, and Replica have all been ignored.
  13. Vanisher - No Mimic - No Mesmro - No Shaw - Yes (Marvel Movie Minimate) Pierce - Non Leland - Nyet Mastermind - Nope. Not to mention a couple of Reavers. Only Bone Crusher and Lady D got made which annoys me. The Shattered Star story line is still one of my favourites from the books.
  14. Love this! Maybe Wolfsbane will get the treatment someday when we get X-Factor. <- not so subtle shade.
  15. Adding back into the thread. I submit Husk & M from Generation X. Husk of course is Cannonball's Sister, an X-Man (dated Angel and Toad... I'll wait while you clean up the vomit...), a founder of Gen X and in the X-Corp. Not to mention she has that interesting skin rip-away power. She has appeared in X-Men: TAS and showed up as a name in X2. M is more versed as a Member of Gen X, X-Corp, The X-Men, X-Factor and is the current White Queen of the Hellfire Club. Both got worked over during the Toy Biz line and have since lingered in toy obscurity.
  16. I think it depends on the reasons. To me as a 35+ year fan of Crystals i don't care what costume they use of hers as long as they make her. If they were making yet another version of Wolverine/Iron Man/etc I would be more concerned about the details because if I am adding another version of the same character into my collection I want it to be perfect.
  17. Yes! I have been waiting for Disney to make them into a series (cartoon or otherwise). I actually have a spec script somewhere I pitched about a decade ago.
  18. This thread is my fault sadly (I'm not sorry) It just ticks me off that Crystal a member of three large teams: Fantastic Four, Inhumans, Avengers that married into the X-Men has been neglected and i think that is the intent of my selection. But I will be cheating by saying it's four figures: The Power Pack. And now the why: The are connected to every franchise in the Marvel Universe. Katie connected the X-Universe to the team with her adventures with Wolverine. Alex joined the New Warriors and the Fantastic Four. Julie was in the Avengers Academy. Jack had adventures with Spider-man and was Franklin Richard's best friend. Plus since they are kids (i.e. no breasts) the figures could switch heads to designate which power each Power had since the siblings could power swap.
  19. As long as they made one I wouldn't care. Odds are I would put her in an Avengers Jacket anyway.
  20. They aren't that different. I'd forgive if they gave us both hair styles. Also, this Wolverine movie looks great. Can't wait for these mates!
  21. They did not make a Crystal. As probably Crystal's number one fan this is a real sore subject. Especially when a Squirrel Girl gets a figure or a Deathstrike gets a redo. I know it is silly but we all have our favourites.
  22. I have gone through http://www.marveltoys.net/ every now and then but I haven't ever done a serious list because then my heart would hurt. That line was so great and it had Medusa, Grey Black Widow, most of Gen X, and most importantly 60's Jean. If only it had a Crystal it would have been perfect.
