I bought so many of them my friends and family wanted to send me to rehab but I had to have a complete Strike Force including in Colossus, X-Factor, the Muir Island X-Men, Joey, Cecilia, Kitty... Even though it pains me to get another attempted rapist action figure, Atuma to me is the character that has had the profound impact in my mind due to him being a villain that crosses multiple franchises. As for the army builder, as loathed as I am to get another hate mongering group out there I had to go to the Sons of Serpent for the same reason.

Agreed on multiple parts. There are tons of untapped army builders, the Stepford Cuckoos, Multiple Man (original and X-Factor), plenty of alien races, purifiers, even police and SHIELD agents that still need love. I love the army builders and hope this gimmick continues. I'm not looking forward to the build a figure Quake but will be buying multiple of the chest piece since I have more lady agents that need to be made.

Boomerang / Spider-man 2099 Iron Doom / Superior Octopus Modern Rogue / Modern Cyclops I'm thinking it's Spidey 2099 and Superior Octopus are right and as much as I would love a Modern Rogue I need a Classic BOEM/1st Joined X-Men Rogue more. When this was originally announced I went wish list mode very quickly and sadly the below doesn't hold up at all. Personally I would love this wave to be: Shiar Fang / Wolverine (with parts for Maverick and then you could make a Wolverine in Fang costume as well) Iron Doom / Superior Octopus BOEM Rogue / Binary Ms Marvel

I get it. I took a thumping for my opinions on 60's Jean so I get it. Especially when you have wanted a figure for so long.

Did I miss the memo on Quicksilver having wings on his feet ever? I don't remember that at all. Again, I love this set and feel almost like a judge on some stupid reality show that has to say "something" and in no way want that to reflect on the amount of effort it took to make this happen because it is stellar. I bought three copies of it (2 from Luke and 1 from my LCS). Mastermind is absolutely perfect. I just wish he had a smoking hand but get that a toy probably shouldn't smoke (will pose with Smoking Man hand from X-Files). Toad is also nearly perfect, I just wish he came with Puck's hand for flipping. I stocked up on Pucks for the slipper feet so I am fine there. Quicksilver I can see where people would want the green boots and gloves which I think should be easy enough to QC. If I was a better painter I would even use Spectre's boots but I will probably go with a boot like the New Mutants characters in green. Jean is my favourite character and this is my favourite costume. The set from the LCS has a sloppy paint job on the mask but what bothers me is the hair. Maybe it will grow on me but it may be like X-Factor Jean where I spend a long time trying to find a good alternative. Either way the plan is to cut off the mask and glue it to a red-haired piece I like. I will have two open sets so I can avoid the Mastermind issue, put Pietro in two places (Avengers and BH) and then figure out what to do with Toad. I get that inserting in Wanda's head piece from the BH to a paint that matches her AVX look is unrealistic but I can't stand the base they gave Jean and wish instead they had given her either a modified Invisible Woman bubble or just a hovering flight stand or a hand holding accessory with GSXM Cyclops but thankfully Luke promised me one so I'm good on that. . Again minor nit picks since I love the set and can solve most of these issues on my own. I'm more surprised at how I now want a Beast that fits into this era since he's my least favourite X-Man of this era and I don't like his costume from it either. I am just now on a hunt to give Jean this kind of hair: And will probably buy a third MG just to get her in this look with the black mask:

I agree. I think it's great that so many people liked it but it's not for me. I'm just not feeling the Gwen-Pool / Spider-Gwen love. Either way thanks for hosting the panel Zach and for letting it be posted. I personally hate when I get filmed so thanks!

Time is expensive as well. I get frustrated about scalpers not for what they do but in some cases how they do it. Back when there was a TRU in Times Square I saw someone put every box they had of minimates into a basket. Out of curiosity I asked why. Their response: eBay. Mind you I didn't have room to judge as I had two Betsy Braddocks in my hand but I have never sold them. One is on my shelf the other waiting for the first to die to replace her.

May have to kitbash a Liefeld Boomer to go with the other X-Forcers.
