No, you're right. For classic comic look it should definitely be gold or yellow. Translucent wouldn't fit with that, though I admit I haven't seen the modern version. Not sure if it's different or not. Man it's nice to see a comic wave thread rolling along again. I thought about this wave all day.

That's a good point. Most of the redos in this wave are pricey. It's cool that people can get them at normal price with this set. DST covered all the bases with this lineup, something for everyone. I've had a zombie Vulture sitting here for a while now waiting to be turned into the Drago version. At this point it'd be easier to get the new one and save myself the hassle of trying to match paints. So if I'm now buying three of the packs, might as well grab the fourth to complete that neato Spider-Slayer. Looks like I'm in for the set!

I hope not. Looking back on the translucent Torch from the FF series (was that 48?) It's kind of hard to make out details. Maybe the flame attachments could work? To be honest though, I plan on losing those the minute I open the pack.

Prowler and Molten Man, hurrah! That Spider Slayer looks pretty cool too, can't wait to see the whole thing. The updated figures look good, I really like the hair choice for Hydro-Man. As someone that prefers yellow over gold for minimates (yes, even on the golden avenger) it's not bothering me with Molten Man. I thought it would but I like my first look at that figure. ? I'm definitely down for the Molten Man and Prowler packs. Not sure if I'll buy the rest as I already have versions I'm happy with. Guess it'll come down to how bad I want the Spider Slayer vs buying packs I don't need to get him. Regardless, it is a great looking wave. Nice job DST.

I'm pretty good on versions of the FF but count me all in for classic villains and friends. Even the friends that aren't quite human... perhaps even... Inhuman.

@MisterPL None of my local stores got the Marvel endcap. They did eventually get the two pegs so that's progress. They pack them all together though, it's not a peg for each. I never would have thought about the front end, guess I'll start looking there now too. Thanks. ? @minimatestopmotion personally I'm interested in the Executioner-Enchantress pack from wave 9. From wave 10 I'd like to get the Warlock pack. Maybe the Hammerhead pack if he has a unique head. If it's a normal sized noggin I'll probably skip. That'll be an in hand decision.

Same here. Wave 8 made a brief appearance but 9 and 10 haven't shown up. I don't think they will for a while either. 8 just showed up after months of release. I'm also concerned that the CM movie set will hit now and push the possibility of restock back even further. The movie and animated sets are all smushed together at the stores I frequent.

Same here... East coast, no wave 8 or 9 ever spotted in about 15 stores.

Oh that show was great fun, I really enjoyed both seasons. That last episode from S1... what a finish. Season 2 couldn't get here fast enough.

Wow, I'm late to the party on this one! Thanks for the heads up Zach, got my order in for the two non- mutant packs. The estimated arrival date is pretty quick, these could be here by the weekend!

For me personally I've already seen a price increase on minimates. When all of the local shops stopped carrying the line I had to start ordering comic mates online. I'm not the only one affected as I've seen more than one person mention the same situation. I was paying $8 per pack at the shops plus tax. Online prices are between $8.99 and $9.99 per pack at most e-tailers plus shipping. I was paying $7.50 plus tax per pack at TRU and now they are gone. Walgreens is the only game in town for minimate purchases and the last three waves haven't shown in my area for five months. I usually only want a pack or two from each animated wave but it's costly. eBay prices are insane. Online stores also charge a premium price for Walgreens mates. Dont even get me started on box set prices... Options are dwindling and collecting my favorite toy line is becoming harder and costlier than ever. I'm not in favor of any sort of price increase.

Another exciting round of finding nothing this weekend. I hit 6 stores that are a little further out and saw tons of IW1 restocks. Ragnarok and BP we're also on display along with the Zemo wave. Pegs (yes, two in some stores) were fully packed so it doesn't look like there will be restocks any time soon. Exciting!!! ??

I also adjust the peg in the stores I frequent. None of mine have two pegs, only the one. And, I posted this in the wrong thread the other day so I moved it here... Spent a few more hours on Friday searching in vain for new Walgreens minimates... nothing to report. I'm starting to grow very tired of the search that never ends. If anyone is selling the Enchantress pack from wave 9 or Cull Obsidian pack from IW2 at cost I'd be interested. I was going to purchase the Wasp pack from wave 8 but can't be bothered to care anymore.

No sign of these anywhere near me yet again.

Just went back and checked my previous post in this thread and it was from April 22nd. It's been 4 + months I've been looking for new Walgreens releases and it's not like that was the first time. Very disheartening.

After weeks of searching a wide area of stores my 3 closest stores finally restocked... with IW1 and the Zemo wave. Ridiculous. The stores further out had even older stock. No sign of IW2 or waves 8 or 9 anywhere near me. Again. When does the fun begin?
