  1. Man. I love seeing those design sheets! It definitely is going to be disappointing whichever of those don't get made. Now I'm new to the boards, but is there a place where other design sheets have been published? I'd love to see design sheets for all my minimates. (and how awesome of a coffee table book would that make? with some commentary by Zach.....)
  2. Average! However, that may be due to to my averaging their individual success rates. Individually, they're doing very well, so-so and awful, depending on the character. Does that help? I guess poor ol' vengeance is on the awful category, right? Regardless of how many votes he's gotten, I think it's always fair to say that Vengeance is in the 'awful' category.
  3. Wow. I'm really enjoying all the pics of the prototypes and unmade figures. Always fascinating to see what could have been. You really could open up your own minimate museum.
  4. Slipstream is from X-Treme X-Men. First started using this name on an X-Men board, so I thought it would be funny to use an obscure character. For those of you who don't know, he's an Australian rich kid who found out he was a mutant, and his power is teleportation, by creating a half-pipe in the air, and surfing it on a boogie board. So in other words: 100% awesome. Lol. The pic is just a google image search of said character, although for some reason it's not showing up. Guess it hasn't been approved yet or something.
  5. Ok, I'm new to the MMMV, so I'm kind of lost with this thread. While I'm completely in awe, why do you need so many multiples of figures? I guess I'm just too simple of a collector, once I have one of something, I mentally check it off my list of things I need. I don't say "hmmmm....I wish I had 100 more of these still in their box." Not to mention the cost, but that's already been mentioned.....
  6. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! *dreams of 90s X-Factor minimates dying*
  7. Went on a road trip through North/South Carolina this past weekend, I found them at the 3rd TRU I visited, in Greenville, SC. The first two were a no-show, then I get to the third, and they have wave 13, and ASM Movie! I held off on ASM for now, I think I want to see the movie first. But I was super excited to get wave 13! More New Mutants! And I'm a child of the 90s X-Men, so I like the garish Rictor & Boom Boom. I remember the issue where she made that costume.
  8. It's gotta be Alpha Flight, since they've already shown the Box/Vindicator two pack that is coming out later. I figure that will compliment whatever 4 make it into the box set. And I just noticed, but if it is AF, how funny would it be that Box wouldn't make it into the "Box Set?" Lolol.....I crack myself up.
  9. I wanted to show the difference in size. Personally, I would rather have my Onlslaught be 3" instead of 2". 2" scale wouldnt do Onlsaught justice I don't think that's true...just look at AoA Holocaust *ahem* I mean "Nemesis" - I think they captured his bulk very well with the add ons.
  10. Hopefully wave 50 can include a Black Knight, that would get at least one piece of MI-13 out there....just have to customize him with the jeans/jacket outfit. Wouldn't be hard.
  11. Haha - for a while, I had my superhero squad X-Men with Marvel Legends Mojo & Spiral
  12. If I had to take anybody out to include Mystique, I'd say Toad because Blob Pyro and Avalanche are a unit together, but I'm afraid to ever say take out Toad, we'll be waiting another 9 years!! This would be great. Or sub Mystique in for Avalanche, and I'd be fine with that, too, if it raised the set's profile a hair. How about two sets? You could have a Mystique, Destiny, Pyro, Avalanche set for the Fall of the Mutants era, then the 90s Brotherhood with Toad, Phantasia, Blob, and Sauron! Oh wait, I think I might be the only person who would buy both of those.....
  13. I agree with everyone else - this poll is too difficult! I ended up going Banshee, just out of X-Men love, and Black Knight, because I love Dane, and want to put him in civil war cap's 90's avengers jacket. But that means I didn't get to vote for Songbird, Gladiator, Winter Soldier, Commander Rogers?!?!?!? Too much of a good thing! And here I was thinking we'd just get D-Man and Slapstick in the supporting characters poll.....
  14. Man, I would love a Reavers set. Never happen, but Bonebreaker, Skullbuster, Prettyboy and Donald Pierce? I may actually be inspired enough to attempt customs. I've never been a customizer, but that does sound like a great idea. Mohawk Storm's hair, a head with sunglasses....but where to find a toy tank to rip apart that will be in scale?
  15. youbastards did it - check it out in his customs thread. Wow. that is a great custom. Just shows how easy it would be - the first appearance Doom is basically all the tooling you'd need. The problem would be the fact that only about 0.01% of the people remember him, or would buy him. haha. And Superpro - that's the holy grail of 90s obscurity!
  16. Such a huge X-Men fan, it's amazing that we get the whole outback team! Now if only I could get a minimate Bonebreaker to harass them.....
  17. Random wishlist character - Sleepwalker! Never had a toy of any kind! (yes, I'm a child of 90s comics. It's terrible.)
  18. It seems like an Alpha Flight box set is a pretty safe bet, with the Box and Vindicator two pack announced....they do like to use the TRU sets to round out teams. But seriously - I think it is a pretty long shot to get a Marrina minimate. In a 4 pack, I'd have to think Guardian & Sasquach are a given. But who else? Snowbird, Puck, Northstar & Aurora, Shaman.....it's gonna be tough no matter what.
  19. OMG. I've been lurking on these boards for a little while, decided it was finally time to register just to comment on this. Revenge of the Sinister Six was one of my favorite stories. If there was ever a wave based on that, I would lose it! Mainly because that would probably be the best shot of ever getting a Sleepwalker minimate. Welcome to the board! Always good to have another warm body around. Transfan I take it? Transfan yes, but primarily comics....X-Men in particular. Slipstream comes from a very minor character in X-Treme X-Men back in the day.
