  1. Tonight at midnight is the deadline!
  2. Has anyone tried to remove the wings from Falcon yet? I can't tell if they're stuck because of paint or are glued in on mine.
  3. It is. But you can have more than one pic in the entry if you're recreating a couple of panels or something like that.
  4. Condolences to you and your family, Shane.
  5. I don't know if this is a company-wide rule, but the very rude guy I dealt with at the counter would only let me buy five blind bags. He said that there is a five per person limit, and wouldn't let me buy the six that I had brought up. I went back later in the night and bought the rest of the Alice figures, but it wasn't a fun experience. EDIT: I forgot to add that I really like the figures. The cat is a pretty cool design.
  6. From the back of the bag: -Alice Kinsleigh -Disappearing Cheshire Cat -Mad Hatter -Monochrome Time -Red Queen -Time -Time-Frozen Alice -White Queen Monochrome Time is marked as RARE! I'm not sure what the order is because these were put on a peg and there didn't seem to be a full case. The Monochrome Time and Time-Frozen Alice are straight repaints, so you can't really tell them with the feel method. Cheshire Cat was pretty easy to spot, though.
  7. I didn't find NBX at Hot Topic, but I did find the Hot Topic Alice Through the Looking Glass blind bags yesterday.
  8. Yup, it's showing up in the bottom left now. I use photobucket, but was just mentioning it in case others were having the same issue. Thanks Shane!
  9. My text window doesn't have the source button or the clip with the drag files text next to it in Chrome or IE. I had to copy/paste someone else's trade list and then modify it to get columns to work.
  10. This wave looks absolutely amazing. I guess I hadn't noticed it before, but it's cool to see the sword for Kurt. Great job, DST!
  11. I've had a few people ask for an extension, so the deadline to submit has been extended by one week. The deadline is now 8/29 at midnight.
  12. Happy belated Birthday to the both of you!
  13. And we are back with another giveaway for another month! This month is a really cool prize, as it's finally time for the excellent Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters gate diorama that was created specially for this promotion by the very talented Kris Lyons! In addition to the dio, the winner will also receive a loose set of the Giant Size X-Men #1 box set as well. Here's the goods: And now to the rules for this month: This will be more of a contest than a giveaway. If you would like to win, you need to submit either a photo of X-related Minimates, (can be a panel recreation, an original setup, or anything else you choose), OR you need to submit X-related Minimates art to this thread. After the deadline, we will have a vote, open to all MMMV'ers, and the winner will receive the dio and the figures. The contest is open to all members of the Minimate Multiverse. Please note: While international members are welcome to participate, they are responsible for the cost of international shipping if they win. All work needs to be new and created for this contest and be posted in this thread before the deadline, August 29 at midnight EDT. After the deadline has passed we will have a week of voting. The PM Ballot system will be used for the voting. Each submitted ballot must list in order the top three entries, (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Anyone can vote, even the participants. If you are a participant, you cannot vote for your own entry. The 10 point minus system will be used to calculate the results. Points awarded will be as follows: 1st will get 10pts, 2nd will get 9pts, 3rd will get 8pts. Tie-breakers will be decided by the number of 1st place votes, and then by a panel of Mods if there is a further tie. During the voting period, please send all ballots by PM to me, with the subject line of AUGUST VOTING. Good luck to all and I hope we get some great entries!
  14. It's a drug store/convenience store. It's mostly there for the pharmacy and over-the-counter medications, but also sells beauty products, miscellaneous home goods, stuff like that. But they also have a decent toy section that carries exclusives from various lines like Minimates, Marvel Legends, Funko, etc... I think the closest thing I could find online that would be an Australian equivalent is Priceline Pharmacy.
  15. Can anyone confirm paint differences for Wave 2 like Wave 1 of the Greatest Hits had?
  16. All of the packages have now been shipped. Please let me know if you don't receive yours and I'll look up the tracking. Thanks!
  17. homestar *was* on the clock, but has also picked. This concludes the picks for the June Giveaway Draft! Thank you to everyone that participated and thanks for making this run very smoothly. I hope that everyone got something that they're happy with. Also, one announcement.... Since the June draft ran a little late, I'm going to push the July Giveaway out for a month. The main prize was going to be the fantastic Xavier Gate dio by the supremely talented Kris Lyons. There just isn't enough time left in the month to give that dio a proper giveaway run. So, the draft will count as June/July combined and the X dio will now be the August Giveaway main prize. Look for the August thread to see all of the prize info and get the details on how to win. I also wanted to mention how cool it was to watch how everyone picked. I noticed that pretty much everyone seemed to pick something they wanted/needed instead of whatever was most valuable. That was what I hoping for, but it's just cool to see that people used the giveaway to stock up their collection. And lastly, everyone that had sent in their address before today has had their package mailed out. If for some reason you don't receive yours, please let me know and I'll get the tracking info checked. Thanks again, everyone!
  18. ScarlettaSpider77 is on the clock!
  19. Mystery Man has picked and so has polarboy. Which means... Ovenproofbug6 is on the clock!
  20. And we are back. Mystery Man is still on the clock!
  21. I found it helpful to twist the helmet/head a little bit first. The helmet should turn more than the head, which helps in breaking any little paint bonds that might be there. Then just fingernail the small lip of the bottom of the helmet. It took me a couple of tries to get them off.
