How freaking cool is that? I was unfolding it wondering what it would be and was absolutely blown away when I saw the image. I've always had that as my avatar and have never found a pic I like better. This is just a really cool gift that makes think of the Multiverse.

Based on the shirt, I had an idea that my Birthday Elephant was Arnim Zola. I remember a comment he made to me a while ago about liking the avatar. Then I reread the note that came with my gift, and noticed a small drawing of the Zola eyepiece in the corner. So a thousand thank yous to AZ. Thanks for an awesome present!

Blind bags have what collectors crave! They have electrolytes! 

They are available, but the shipping is pretty steep. It estimated $11.27 to ship one $5 bag of stands for me.

I just returned home after a week long trip to see my brother walk in graduation, and found my BE present waiting in a pile of boxes that arrived while I was gone. I just had to open it, (I haven't opened the others... you know you're tired when you don't want to open boxes with toys in them), and can only say WOW. I got an awesome present and will post pics in the very near future. So damn cool. 

Ho Ho Holy cow, it's the last month of the MMMV Turns 10 giveaways! Fun stuff will be first, but please take a minute to read the rest below the giveaway details.

We have three stockings to give away this month, each filled with Minimates and other goodies. All you have to do to enter for one of these stockings is to post your favorite Minimate. That's all. Which specific, (which wave is it from?), Minimate do you love the most? Just let us know and you'll be eligible to win one of the stockings.

The usual rules of randomness will apply to all that enter. Names will be randomized and drawn to determine the winners. This giveaway is open until Wednesday, December 15 at midnight EST. We will announce the winners soon after.

But wait, there more! I have it on good authority that Santa will be looking through the Wants lists in the trade thread. Now, Santa doesn't have a bag full of Gold Spideys, but he will be looking for people with *UPDATED* trade lists to give gifts to. If your trade list is updated and dated 12/4/16 or later, then you just might find Santa sending you something. The deadline for the stockings will also be the deadline for Santa's trade list searching. Remember, it has to be updated with a date 12/4/16 or later, and will be looked at at the same time the stockings deadline hits, (12/15/16 @ midnight EST).

Ok, that's the giveaway list! Now, I have a favor to ask everyone. With it being the holiday season, there are a lot of people that need help in one way or another. One of my personal favorite charities is Toys for Tots. I've talked about it here before, but Christmas can be a very stressful time for some families and parents. When you don't have the means to provide toys for your children, or daily necessities for that matter, Christmas is just one more burden. But Toys for Tots can help out with this very specific need. I'm asking anyone here that is able to please donate to Toys for Tots. Clearing out old Minimates is always a nice way to go, but anything from baby items to toys for older kids can always be used. Or, if you don't feel like Toys for Tots is the right charity for you, please donate to any organization that helps out people that could use some help. It doesn't matter if it's one dollar or one can of food or one hour of your time that has been donated. Intent is way more important than amount.

The Batmobile was the first thing I ordered. The Batwing is pretty amazing just for the pure size of it, but I just don't know where I'd put it. Plus, the Batmobile just felt more iconic for this series. I went with the deluxe one that has the Bats/Robin/Signal included. Then I just had to get the Man-Bat and Mad Love sets.

Other than that, I picked up a few more of the figures that looked like they were well below retail on Amazon. It's fun/exciting/wallet-panic-inducing jumping into an established line like this. 

I've been on the fence about this line for what feels like a full year. But last night I went ahead and dove in head first. I thought I was done with 6" figures, but good grief this line just looks so good. 

So we got seven hand turkeys entered in this month's giveaway. The prizes are gift certificates to Luke's, (just in time for Black Friday!). Congrats to the two random winners, Mattallica and Captain Paco! You will both get a $20 gc to Luke's. And for everyone else that participated, you will get a $10 gc to Luke's . No worries on how good it looks. The 1st and 2nd giveaways will be randomized and won't be based on the quality of the hand turkey. The only hand turkey related requirements are that a hand turkey is included in your post. All you really have to do is trace your hand, or someone else's if you prefer, and make it look like a turkey. 

And yeah, the hand turkeys have been pretty amazing so far.

Welcome to the November edition of the MMMV Turns 10 Giveaway! This month will be a bit different as we aren't announcing exactly what the prize is until the deadline has passed. I can say that there will be a 1st and 2nd prize, but can't say anything beyond that. Entering this month is simple. All you have to do is post about something non-toy related that you're thankful for. Something that is going on in your real life that makes you happy. Oh, and one more thing, you also have to include a picture of your very own HAND TURKEY in your post. For those of you not familiar with the grandest of the kindergarten arts and crafts projects:

That's right, bust out some crayons, markers, or just use a plain piece of paper and a pencil. It's up to you. But you do have to have a hand turkey included with your post about what you're thankful for. The hand turkey in charge of all of this was very, very clear about this.

Has anyone else noticed that the subscription serviced Nerd Block got an exclusive slimed Ray Vinimate? I hadn't seen anything about it at all until tonight when I stumbled across a listing on ebay. So is DST going to start putting Vinimates and Minimates in subscription boxes now?
