  1. I found the TRU sets today while driving through NC.
  2. That's still way too much for me as far as what I feel like I'm getting for the price. I do want the Alfred, but I'll be waiting until this set gets a deep discount before I spend that much money for the figure, I've somehow ended up with an extra BtaS Harley Quinn if anyone needs it. Card is beat up but the figure is good.
  3. I would be down for running some more contests if there are people interested in participating. I've been a little busy so far this year, but might be able to start running them again in June or July when real life calms down a bit. What does everyone think?
  4. Yeah, what Matt said. Start out at the info sites and you should be able to see what you're missing. Dallas Vintage Toys has several WHALE parts for a good price, (they have 12 or so different pieces around 3/4 of the way down on the 1st page) http://www.dallasvintagetoys.com/vehicleparts.aspx And ebay has a ton scattered all over the place on price/shipping. But if you can find several from the same seller, then shipping on stuff that light shouldn't be bad to combine. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=gi+joe+whale+parts&_sacat=0 Kudos to your son for picking out such a cool freaking toy! I didn't really have any of the "big" vehicles from the Joe line when I was a kid, but I did get the WHALE. It was my favorite vehicle then and still is today. The depth charges and little motorcycle thing and the awesome rotating gun turrets... ah, memories.
  5. Mojo and Spiral are just so freaking awesome! The whole set looks great.
  6. Zach, in your wildest dreams, did you ever think that you would need to comment on a warm glass of piss in your duties with a toy company? Chuck& Robert& Uriel& Barry& ˙ɥɔɐZ
  7. I haven't been more excited for a wave of toys in a long time.
  8. Kostis, you rant better in English than 99% of people that claim English as their native language.
  9. It's cool to hear that the blind bags are done, at least with NBX. I ended up with so many extras. But I was able to make a few different Jacks with all of the extras, so that was nice. Plus an upside down printed face on Pajama Jack.
  10. I feel like we've either gotten Minimates first or have seen previews/been informed of future Minimates releases for all of the Vinimates licenses shown so far. It just seemed like the logical progression given the way that every other license in the Vinimates line has worked. That's why the hard "no" was kind of blindsided me.
  11. This was the most depressing Ask DST in a long time.
  12. I'm wondering how that works. Marvel Legends has a Sue Storm coming out. Did Hasbro get some kind of special deal or are we off of that restriction?
  13. That would be a hell of a box set.
  14. Yeah, same here. I think it's great that we are getting animated versions. It's just not the same as getting comic versions. If the Wrecking Crew showed up on one of the current shows and we got animated versions of them in the cartoon-y color schemes, I wouldn't consider that checking them off of the comics version wants list for me.
  15. Same here. The Animated line has been cool, but it is very different from the comics based line. Something offered in the Animated style is like something offered in the MCU style. It's cool and has its place in the collection, but it doesn't mix with the different styles.
  16. Frailty is great. It definitely is intense though. Whoa, I didn't know that. How freaking cool!
  17. I honestly don't mean to come across as being whiny about the subject and I certainly don't expect things to be offered up on a silver platter. It's just a matter of this figure seeming to be unreasonable to me. But maybe that's just my knee jerk reaction to it. Hopefully it will end up being available to those that would like to buy one. That would be pretty sweet!
