  1. Actually a smaller cookie, but bigger to the shrunk versions of the kids, basically some prop pieces to display them with.
  2. Lego work good for tiers and what not, but if you want to really get into displaying them in different types of action poses and things, I suggest poster putty, or crafty tack.
  3. My next idea only seems fitting, as MM are little. Would be another great 80s movie edition. Honey I shrunk the kids line: Characters: Wayne Szalinski Nick Szalinski(Shrunk version) Amy Szalinski(Shrunk version) Russ Thompson, Jr.(Shrunk version) Ron Thompson (Shrunk version) Quark (The Dog) Russ Thompson, Sr. Antie ( The Big Ant) Other characters from the movie could be done as well. Accessories: Electromagnetic shrink ray machine. Shrink Ray. Wayne's magnify glass big eye.(Replacement hand) Big Cream cookie. Big Cheerio. Big Blue Lego block.(How Ironic) Other accessories from the movie could be made as well.
  4. It held them crystal figures originally, the guy said he displayed lighters in it, but after looking up the crystal world, it seems they make things from crystal. I checked the Crystal world website, but didn't find any displays for sale on their site. I'm guessing he got it from someone that sold their product or something. I will try contacting them, and see what they said about display cases.
  5. Thanks Jeff! I actually got mine from a local guy off craigslist, I had hunted and hunted for a decent display case for a while, and finally came across this one day. If I see others like it online somewhere I could drop you a message.
  6. I have wanted to share my collection for a while now, but I am in the middle of redoing my display area. I decided I will share some of my sets however, these were taken from my cell phone so I'll try to get better ones eventually. I'll start off with my favorite collection... I will do some close ups of my custom hoverboard I had made, has some pretty nice detail for its size. I am replacing my light in my case, I want an adjustable one. Here is part of my wall collection, which I am completely redoing soon, but here a re a few sets still up on my wall. This used to house all my BTTF mates, but now I am starting to add other random sets in there. Hope you guys enjoy, and I will try posting more soon, thanks for looking!
  7. The pictures are great! Interesting to see the cape on Lion-O, looks pretty neat. Very cool of Bill to give you such a fine set as a gift. Be very concerned, as there are a lot of addicting mates out there, its always a lot of fun picking up the sets you love most. Anyway welcome aboard!
  8. Thanks for the review Lurch77, very well put! Also liked seeing all the close up of the mates. Nice to see what they look like under all that stuff.
  9. Would $40 for series 1 & 2 box sets new in the box be a decent deal?
  10. Are these getting harder to find? I saw a few packs at my toys r us. 2 Pack Jak Daxter Jak Daxter, Resistance Nathan Hale and a Hybrid, some others as well in the discount bin.
  11. Thanks for sharing your customs, I remember watching one of your videos on youtube, you have quite a few great customs. I saw a few pieces here and there that looked like good Plissken parts, so that is what got me thinking about doing one of him. I still need to sit down and study a bunches of pieces before really choosing I suppose. Yeah a Lions decal would do wonders for a Axel character. I have studied the ones that didn't come out, and would like to get as close as I can to that one, but I figure the jacket is going to be the roughest part of it. Nice choice on his face, that you went with. Seeing those really makes me want to get to work on customizing Thanks again for sharing, all tips and advice are very much welcome
  12. Thanks for linking me up Bob! Now that's a great custom right there, is that picture for making a decal? I've been curious about decals, pretty hard to apply them? Thanks again for posting this stuff...
  13. I have not actually did any custom work as of yet, I have dabbled with changing a few pieces on a couple of my mates, thats about it so far. I am however wanting to do my first real custom figure, I am not a good painter, or anything of that nature, but I think I'd like to start by doing a custom from other parts. I am wanting to do a few different figures, I am sure they have been done, but I'd like to give it a go and add them to my collection. Any advice, tips or anything that can lead me in the right direct would be very much appreciated! Axel Foley from Beverly hills cop. Indiana Jones Snake Plissken from Escape from New York/LA These will be my first three attempts at customs I am thinking, I will surely add pictures and what not once I get them done.

  21. Thanks Shogi, I had been wondering on that for a while, I could never find any good photos of the original Kitt.
  22. I'd have to say Thunder kittens ( was always cute seeing them little )But actually the minimates feel a lot like the thunder kittens. Or a less mature version of Lion O (From the first episode)
