I'd pick Doctor Strange in his Marvel NOW! attire or one of his other modern costumes. And Squirrel Girl, she seems like one of those characters who deserves the Minimate treatment.

I'm more excited about Iron Fist and Luke Cage. We finally get to add more to the mystical aspect of the Marvel movie-verse. Will this tie in with the movies at all, though?

My father used to collect Hotwheels, which made ME collect Hotwheels. He'd give me some of the Hotwheels he owned as a sign of trust. I should never damage the ones he gave me. That's exactly what I did. I knew what was mine, and he knew what was his. Then he stopped collecting Hotwheels, and then I stopped collecting Hotwheels. Years later, I start collecting Minimates...and now I'm the only collector in the family.

I've asked my aunt in the states to grab me the Hawkeye/Black Widow pack. I'M EXCITED!

The Ultimates Universe is basically an earlier version of the New 52. Designed to make sure you couldn't get confused about the past because there is no past to get confused about. As expected, it eventually bombed. The universe got all messy and it got confusing. This is basically what could happen to the New 52 if not handled correctly.

So Pedro Davilla posted this picture on our facebook page: And said: "Is anyone else annoyed with these Lego covers? I wish Marvel had done them to celebrate 10 years of Minimates. Am I alone?" Personally, this sort of made me realize something. Does Marvel really even care about the "Minimates" toy line? I mean it's been around for 10 years and it hasn't really gotten any recognition from Marvel itself. Sure they post and update about polls and new releases but have they ever made a Minimate-inspired cover? No, I don't think so. Sure Lego has been around longer than Minimates have but the actual Marvel license for lego hasn't. What do YOU think? Whoops seemed to have double posted, I'm sorry. Mods feel free to remove one of the threads.

Like alot of people have said this news is depressing...but not unexpected. Marvel's producing more movies than ever and an influx of Movie Waves was bound to happen at some point. Guess Wave 57'll be the return to comic-based Minimates. Laugh while you can Moviemates! Laugh while you still can!

Dunno if I'll be getting anything from this wave at all. Maybe Winter Soldier and Falcon but that's just me.
