I just started reading Avengers World #1 and yeah, there were a ton of variant covers. Animal covers, blank covers, baby covers, deadpool'd covers. It's pretty funny since I doubt this run is going to be worth any value in the future. The point is just to make increased profits like the other have already said. Personally, I just buy the normal covers. They're cheaper and the content is the same no matter which cover you buy.

Starlord is holding something. Could that be another Infinity Stone? ED: I read in an interview that in Avengers 2, Ultron's origin is going to involve some magic. Who knows that might be the 4th Infinity Stone?

...yeah that picture is giving me some second thoughts... P.S. Am I the only bothered by Red Skull's cosmic cube hands? They're painted black to go with older Red Skulls, but there are TWO. Shouldn't one of them have metallic paint to match the Red Skull that you ARE getting?

Just read Avenger's World #1. The art was nice but the story was spread too thinly. But #2 will focus on Crusher and her partners on AIM island, so that'll probably prove better in terms of story. I've never read a current comic series, I doubt I'll be able to keep up with school and all but maybe I will. I forsee the new Avengers recruits as Minimates. Crusher, Nightmask, etc. They were in Infinity, apparently so they're important enough to keep for at least one new title.

Hmmmm..... 1. I guess it's because I wanted to set myself apart. Not many teenagers have toy collecting as their hobby and nothing else really appealed to me. Sports, video games, etc. I didn't find myself enjoying that stuff. When I stumbled upon Minimates all those years ago (2009?), I was hooked. My collection is in no way massive. The number of Minimates I get yearly is miniscule compared to how many everyone else gets. But I'm content. I have what I want. That's fine by me. 2. Define "play." 3. I think everyone here asks themselves these questions at one point. If you take your time and look at some old threads, there are a lot of them that are dedicated to that type of "babble." 4. I think this question can be best answered by the other members of the board. GH made many friends here. I wish I could've been one of them.

They haven't showed Ultimate Spiderman here in the Philippines yet. We still have Filipino-dubbed reruns of Spectacular Spiderman though. I loved that cartoon. Sadly, Marvel wanted to do their own thing and cancel the SSM cartoon. I suppose Marvel just doesn't know how to handle him as well as Sony. At least in terms of the cartoons.

To be fair, even Marvel has gotten tired of Peter. They killed him in the Ultimates Universe and replaced him there, they "killed" him in the 616 and replaced him with Doc Ock. And while a Peter revival will be inevitable, we are currently in a time where there is nothing of the original character in the actual comics. He's dead in Marvel's main offerings. In ASM they changed the character. It's not the Peter we saw in the Silver Age, The Modern Age, or the Raimi movies. It's still Peter they just changed him. At least Sony didn't do anything major like, killing him, then replacing him. Just my two centavos.

Like others have mentioned, we have a sinister six in the works. - Mecha Rhino? I'm ALL IN... - I'm not sure how I feel about Harry becoming a villain. We already saw this in Spider-man 3, we may have had 6 years to forget about it, but won't this just make it boring? - Sony has learned from it's mistakes. Hopefully this time, they'll dish out a movie with 3 villains that ISN'T the worst thing ever. - Spirderman 3: Sinister Six movie? Or perhaps an intro to ultimate Vulture and ultimate Doc Ock?
