A friend of mine just sent me this image over text message. Being a big Lego collector himself, he thinks it's fake. (and it probably is). Has anyone else seen this? I'd rather have minimates, but official Legos? Bring 'em!

I think the Magneto base sounds fantastic. I'd love to see some sort of hall of armors interlocking stands/bases for all the Iron Man minimates.

I really don't think the TWD mates will be anywhere near as cool as the Max Zombies were going to be. The quirky zombies... Cool accessories... Man I hope we get them eventually. This x100. I have to agree as well. The more I look at TWD mates, the more I like the humans better than the zombies. I'm hoping the sketchy, line work art on the zombies is just preliminary and not supposed to represent them looking like the comic art. That style just doesn't translate well to mates. If they looked closer to marvel zombies...maybe, but they dont. The Max zombies were clean, quirky and well thought out with a variety of characters and accessories. I hope they see the light of day sooner rather than later. Still, I'm a sucker for minimates and zombies, so it's guaranteed I'll buy them, and buy them quickly.

I really think DST knocked a home run with their showing, trumping the competition! The other companies seemed lackluster mostly, but the minimates stole the show for me! Never having seen Expendables, I can already see the custom potential - Lone Wolf McQuade, 80s movie Punisher...

Just wanted to finally introduce myself. Been lurking around and checking out the cool community here. Very cool site! I especially love the customs and the tales from the minibar. Hopefully I'll post a little more. Got burned out on other toy sites (too much hostility). Got a few customs I've started too. Not much, but inspired from the members here! Mostly I'm a DCUC, Marvel Legends, GI Joe & minimates collector, but mm are the most addicting! See you in the threads!
