Newbie here, decided Toy Fair was a decent topic of conversation since it is quite close. What are you guys expecting in terms of minimates? What about other toy lines? Personally, while this has no basis for being true and is nothing more than a daydream, I am looking forward to a surprise announcement that DC Minimates are making a comeback, I know it won't happen but that's what I'm hoping for. Also looking forward to finally seeing a complete line... or at least a wave of Battle Beasts minis. Hope this is an appropriate thread.

when i paste a decal into there it retains its regular size? am i doing something wrong? the image is 300 dpi

Btw...to apply this decal, all I have to do is open it and print it right? Or do I have to resize it?

I kind of understand how to use it, but the problem I'm having is when I created Hal's mask. I guess since they are all straight line segments it doesn't make it one singular shape so when I try to fill it ( maybe I'm doing it wrong ) it colors the whole template green. BTW I'm using the blank template that you have with your deadgirl template, is that the correct one? I literally spent over an hour today just trying to make and color is his mask...getting frustrating now but I have to do it. Already bought an X-Men:First Class Xavier minimate to decal out and paint.

Do cartoons not rely on advertising anymore? I mean you'd think if its *season 2* supposed to air early 2012, Marvel would have started a massive marketing campaign behind it, especially with the Avengers movie coming out.

Anyone have one designed or any other that can be used as hal? I am trying to use Adobe Illustrator to make one and everytime I try to fill the mask it just either turns the whole template green or doesn't do anything...really confused but can't afford a 30 dollar hal from Ebay...ANYONE?

I have Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl and most of the Justice League except Superman and Manhunter. I BADLY want a Robin and Red Hood ( Jason Todd to complete my bat family) as well as a huntress and catwoman. ( batwoman is easy to find for me ) I've looked all over for pics of customs and they are so old that they have been taken down from free hosting. Anyone with Robin ( damian wayne ) or jason todd red hood customs please post pictures or recipes...I'd be VERY grateful! Huntress too!

Thank you guys! So far for my red hood custom, I've figured most of it out except the face/mask, thinking of using deadpools head and just painting over the black around the eyes...anyway, thank you guys again! Best forum ever.

Hey guys this is my first post here. I've been a fan of minimates since I was in my late teens but never got around to buying any because I was moving around a lot and had different things going on. I am 20 now and bit the minimate bullet. I have 9 dc minimates including the flash, green arrow and wonderwoman. 4 on the way in the mail with c3 mini-flyers and a TRU MAX Elite Jet with a pilot. Fast start I think, DC minimates were a tad expensive but so worth it. Now I have a few questions and I know you guys can help. Sorry for being annoying with the huge post but you could say I'm FREAKIN EXCITED. 1. I ordered a custom minimate off ebay for 35 including shipping. Are there any customizers who have pieces from their collection for sale for less than 40 (usd) or do commissions for less that that. I have asked a few people for quotes and they are 50+ and I understand that, I just can't afford it, but totally respect what they are charging. 2. c3 batcave is on ebay for close to a hundred, has anyone designed an avengers mansion, hall of justice or batcave themselves using lego or otherwise? 3. I am an able artist on paper but the minimate medium is new to me. I know minimate factory has a lot of guides and they explain stuff well. I am wondering where to get cheap minimates (crappymates) to scavenge for parts etc. 4. Anyone have any recipes for a Damian Wayne Robin and a Red Hood ( Jason Todd ). 5. MINIMATES ARE AWESOME. Everyone posting here blows my mind with their collections. I've been unable to find out if there are any new lines being done for 2012? Anyone able to clear this up for me?
