  1. Are any of these confirmed as different to the 2 pack figures?
  2. Keep it up Danny! I always love reading your reviews.
  3. Is this is the non-chase Ice-man? I know it got a little confusing with this chase as they marked them wrong, or didn't mark them or something... I have the Ice-man wave, but haven't opened them yet (they're in a bag in the UK awaiting my long-term return) but I didn't get the chase, so... will this pack help me?
  4. Re: Penguin. To me, it looks like a normal minimate body but with a different type of foot that doesn't add extra height. i.e. the bottom of the leg is flush with the bottom of the shoe.
  5. Really? Do you know why Marvel demanded it? It seems an odd choice. Although I like the boxes a lot, it's good to be able to see the figures, particularly on a wave where the paint-job is less than superb...
  6. http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=76843 I'm fairly sure this is related to the Who's Who series, but on the off-chance that it isn't... Could there be a 'mate here? I doubt it, but thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention, just in case.
  7. Was that box in the middle rotated when you opened the box? If so, is it the chase figure? Just a hunch... Also, you're right about the tape, although the Toys R Us here have sealed them more here. They do it with all blind-packed toys here to stop people peeking!
  8. I'll try Forbidden Planet and Travelling Man and see what they've got. Meeting up is a nice idea. You're in York, right? I'll be based in Nottingham mostly while I'm back, but my girlfriend went to York St. Johns Uni, so a visit there might not be entirely out of the question. I'll let you know more once my plans have been solidified.
  9. Has anyone got a UK price on these? I'm going back for a visit soon, so I might pick these 2 up...
  10. The pics show about 1/8th of the complete glory of the blindbox isle. I think I'd have to stand outside the store to get a picture of the whole aisle!
  11. The layout is pretty similar, but the contents are fairly different, lots more statues and display toys and a lot of model kits. The blind-boxed section tends to be fairly massive too. But Toys R Us, no matter the country, will always have Geoffrey-san!
