What does hot water do?

Yes. It wasn't too bad but they were greasy. I thunk these are the first Minimates I've got that were like that, but it seems to happen a lot with action figures.

Movie Cap? The store by me only has FF and Classic Heroic Age sets. I didn't know they were carrying anything else.

I got an Iron Man 2-pack a couple weeks ago and after pulling the 'Mates out of the package, one Iron Man's foot fell off and the other's arm fell off. They are defective; the hole the foot goes in on the one is too large (you can tell by comparing it to the other) and the arm on the other that falls off is formed poorly; the opening is too wide and it can't stay on the arm securely. It was the last package of it's kind at the store I got it form and I don't want to just return them, so I was wondering if anyone had a DIY solution for keeping loose pieces (arms, feet, legs, hands, etc.) in their place. I don't really want to superglue them especially the arm since it wouldn't be able to be moved around. And I can't really think of any other way to fix it. My kids and I play with them and they aren't much fun locked away because they don't work right...

The Minimates Twitter account said earlier this week that Disney stores will have them in about a week...

An app (I use both iPad and iPhone so a universal iOS app would be my vote) that helps you find stores (even smaller comic shops), news, release info, and a listing/database would be absolutely KILLER. And my kids love Minimates - they would love to have a game.

Really interested in the Hulkbuster Iron Man Minimate. Is it hard to find? Did it come in a pack other than with Gamma Hulk (TRU Wave 7)? What do they tend to go for? I'm having a hard time making sense of the availability of this one...

I'm curious as to what the Minimates set is going for. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

The Minimates Twitter feed said Disney stores should be getting this in about 2 weeks. Hopefully there are enough to go around.
