  1. That salute hand is just too cool. I'm glad DST started off simple with these mates and didn't go too crazy; the slave girl was a welcome edition. Glomit P.S. How long have we had a Trek section?
  2. Definitely a lot sweeter! Glomit
  3. Diggin' the new look (the smileys look a bit like dandelions )! I like the profiles a whole lot more, they really act as more of an all-in-one now. Just a question, have our avatars been affected by this change? Mine justs looks a bit pixelated. Good job, Ady! Glomit
  4. You can get that at http://freeserifsoftware.com/software/DrawPlus/default.asp (not really good at posting links just yet). Hope that helps. Glomit
  5. I heard rumours of a marriage, I just didn't know who. Glomit
  6. Douglas. He can be pretty secretive about these things. Half the time, we think he works for MI5. About Spidey and Carnage, do some asking around, I know that some comic shop owners will show customers things that are not on display, usually when the customer knows their stuff. Glomit
  7. You have my condolences, MV. Stay strong. Glomit
  8. There is a villain in the DC Universe called "Bird" who always has his falcon (or some bird predator ) on his arm. That technique would perfectly for it, though sadly, Bird is not in Minimate form. Not that he's my favourite character. Glomit
  9. Looks sweet with him in that turret! Glomit
  10. I too am getting a case of each. It's nice to be able to bounce back between series when you're playing around with these guys . Glomit
  11. Just thought I'd say this for those who don't already know. BSG on the SPACE channel has been moved to Sundays starting Jan. 21st, starting at what I believe is the same time as before. NOTE:This is the all-new Season 3.5. Just so all you SPACE viewers know. Glomit
  12. If you're into flexibilty, then Minimates are definitely the way to go! BTW, I found out last month that my grandpa comes from the Isle of Man. Shanester: Star Wars Kubricks are still available??!! Glomit
  13. Good point. I think I'd get him declawed. Glomit
  14. Riders of Rohan would have been fantastic, but then there is the horse issue. In a sense, the horse problem relates to the Nazgul. They wouln't of looked so good without horses. Their dragons would also cause trouble being so big. And Army of the Dead would have been terrific! Glomit
  15. Same. It was cool how they just showed you the opening scene, not multiple scenes from different points in the movie. BTW, Night at the Museum was freakin' hilarious . Glomit
  16. As some of you might know, animals apparently speak at the stroke of midnight, New Year's . If you had the choice of 3 or more Minimates that could talk (or sweeter, still, move), which would they be? -Classic Wolverine -Grey Hulk -Powerhouse Thing -Classic Spider-Man Glomit
  17. Christmas was good. A Battlestar insider got my brother a signed copy of the script of the episode "33". Minimates were in high demand, of course . I also finally got my hands on the original series of B.S.G., the case being a Cylon head. The only minus was the fact that there were no more bangers for the Christmas crackers. We just said "bang" instead. Merry Christmas, one and all! Glomit
  18. Just gotta love Hulk throwing the Batmobile at Cyclops. Glomit
  19. It seems that you always find these things when you're not looking for them. Glomit
  20. Just thought I'd ask, might AA ever make a daring move, such as (for a limited time) produce Minimates in wooden form? Glomit
  21. In the past month, I have been checking out this shop that buys/sells/trades antiques. I found out that those old wind-up robots (Space Robot) are being re-released: new toy, same look. There are alot of new wind-ups, such as Moe and Homer playing pool, that do a lot more than just walking around. I just really like seeing old things coming back . Just wondering if anyone has encountered these robots as well, or perhaps collected the very originals? Glomit
  22. That guy certainly had a unique smile, considering he had no lips . But seriously, that guy would definitely be awesome, but I doubt AA would make a trusty steed for him, unless he was to come in a single pack...... Glomit
  23. 'Bout the Minimates, I think an Angel would be a wise move, considering we have never seen an official Angel unless you count his backround appearance on the cover of Giant Size X-Men. Glomit
  24. Why didn't they make the first Uruk-Hai???!!!! I mean, come on, they look so wild, so savage. The perfect Uruk-Hai!! With Lurtz as their leader, they are unstoppable. I guess AA just thought the Two Towers versions looked a little more awesome. Sorry for the bitchin', I just couldn't contain myself much longer. Glomit
