What Marvel Minimates are YOU missing still?
VictorVonDoom replied to MST3KFan's topic in Marvel Minimates
I'm nearing the end. Warpath/Angel Stealth Iron Man/Gauntlet Tony Most of the Astonishing wave The entire Wolverine Movie Wave The Spider-Man Friends and Foes Set Iron Man 2 minimates And the new TRU series And that's it. :] -
I know that they probably wouldn't sell well, being a line of all civilians, but I personally would *love* Lost minimates. Imagine: Series 1: Jack & Kate Sawyer & Juliet Locke & Ben Chase: Wheelchair Locke Series 2: Hurley & Libby Sayid & Desmond Sun & Jin Chase: Dharma Suit Desmond Series 3 Jacob & The Man in Black Charlie & Claire (with baby Aaron) Dharma Jack & Dharma Sawyer Chase: Preggers Claire Series 4 Dharma Kate & Mr. Eko Ana Lucia & 815 Jack Boone & Shannon Chase: Locke's Vision Boone Series 5: Richard & Rousseau Michael & Walt (with Vincent) Dharma Hurley & Illana Chase: Alex (replacing Rousseau) Exclusives: Rose & Bernard Nikki & Paulo Charles & Penelope Widmore Freighter 5-Pack: Lapidus Miles Charlotte Faraday Keamy Pipe dream? Yep. Awesome pipe dream? YES. And yeah. I'm home sick today and have too much free time.

Anyone else hate the lack of Goblin Gliders?
VictorVonDoom replied to BudPalmer's topic in Marvel Minimates
Menace in Series 33 is coming with a minimate style Goblin glider. Perhaps a future Green Goblin release will include one, if AA worked out the kinks in the contract. -
Took a look at the Toys R Us in Nashua, NH. Nothing. D:

My bombermate is one of my most sentimental mementos. I loved that forum, and I love that mate. :] -
Let's discuss the mini-Minimates

If I get a Franklin Richards from this, I'm okay with life. -

Holy. Crud. I cannot believe I will own Universal Monster minimates. They are all friggin Fantastic, although I'm hoping to see a Phantom and Hunchback brought in at the very least. And Classic Mandarin? Yes. Stilt Man? Mega Yes. So. Good. -

Universal Monsters Minimates

I've been a huge Universal fan since I was little. This is some of the best news I've heard in ages. Seriously, this made my week. -
Bought My First 'Mates (In the Store)
VictorVonDoom replied to RaginCajun713's topic in Marvel Minimates
Welcome! I started collecting right at the very beginning. My first set was the Kingpin/Daredevil two-pack. I then got the three TRU 5-packs very soon after. I was only 12 when the line started, and I'm now closing in on 19. Odd... -
Anyone else like to see a new Sandman minimate? I always *hated* the Powerhouse version, and the original release just isn't cutting it. I'd love to see a version using Osborn's hair piece, and the arms and sandbase of the SM3 version. Interchangeable normal arms and legs would be good too.
-
Sarah's hair would definitely work for Kitty. But I'd still like to see a version that isn't invisible. But, I can survive without. :]
-
I would love to see an "apology" AXM set. Perhaps a four pack of Emma (with Cape), Kitty (no phasing with ponytail), Cyclops and Wolverine with a 2 pack of Colossus and Beast kicking around.
-
Let's be positive! What minimates are, in your opinion, absolutely perfect? Which ones could AA not improve on at all with a new release? Which ones are the shining jewels of your collection and the pinnacle of minimate perfection? Go!

REDO! 1. The Lizard 2. Medusa 3. Kang 4. Mandarin 5. Wiccan 6. Hulkling 7. Banshee 8. Baron Strucker 9. Dormammu 10. Falcon Just missed the list: Mr. Sinister, Dazzler, Mole Man, Guardian and the rest of Alpha Flight, Baron Zemo, Morbius, Crimson Dynamo & Viper. And for variants: Wolverine: Brown Costume Re-do Spider-Man: Six-Armed Version Iron Man: Hulkbuster Captain America: Nomad Hulk: Joe Fixit

I also wouldn't object to a new Elektra, but it's not a dire need.
-
My thought pretty much echo the populace... Classic Thor (I was always disappointed with the final result. Make him slimmer with a better cape and hair sculpt) Rhino (Powerhouse. Keep the same headpiece.) Juggernaut (Powerhouse) Nick Fury (I personally think a four pack of SHIELD agents with interchangeable heads and accessories would own.) Daredevil (I'd take the MK one, but it lacks arm and leg detailing) Dr. Doom (with a two-piece flowing cloak and better armor detailing) That being said, I can live without seeing these updates if I continue to see quality new characters. :]

Should there be an updated Fantastic Four released?
VictorVonDoom replied to groundhog7s's topic in Marvel Minimates
Mirymate, don't get me wrong. I can live with the 4-pack Doom. However, I would still love to see a redo with a higherlevel of detail and a new cloak. That being said, I would also love a Mole Man, Puppet Master, Psycho Man, Firelord, Terrex and pretty much any FF villain (or villain in general) that AA could provide. :] And I completely agree in regards to Servoguard over Doombot. Truthfully, I was thinking of a Servoguard anyways. -
Should there be an updated Fantastic Four released?
VictorVonDoom replied to groundhog7s's topic in Marvel Minimates
As you might assume, I am in fact a huge FF fan. Do I think a new FF are necessary? Hardly. But I'd certainly take a set. Especially Thing. I own all of the released Thing minimates and haven't found one completely satisfactory. I don't think that the flamed on Human Torch is really necessary, but a human Johnny Storm would be fantastic. Also, a re-do of Doom is one of my most wanted minimates. Perhaps with a Doombot army builder. -
Iron Man II Movie Minimates General Discussion
VictorVonDoom replied to rx78jj's topic in Marvel Minimates
So, if the Marvel Studios films are part of the same universe, we're really developing a large collection of characters from it. At the moment, we have: Iron Man/Stark Iron Monger Pepper Potts Jim Rhodes/War Machine Raza Hulk/Banner Abomination/Blonsky Betty Ross General Ross Happy Hogan Whiplash Justin Hammer Hammer Drones Black Widow Nick Fury Plus countless variations and costumes. I approve of this. I can't wait to see what comes out of the Thor and Captain America films... not to mention The Avengers... -
I think the thread title is a teensy bit outdated.

I am pumped for Klaw. A good classic villain is always acceptable. Storm, Reed and Hulk are also great variants. I can live without the Wolverine and Cap, but I'll still pick them up. Wolverine especially looks to have a detailed and well thought out tampo. Also, if you look closely at Hulk's bubble on the packaged Reed/Hulk set, you can see something blue poking it. Reed's stretch attachment, perhaps?

Iron Man II Movie Minimates General Discussion

Throw in a Mandarin, MODOK and Crimson Dynamo and I'm sold.
