Not sure how to classify which ones came first as I got a large selection all the same day. I suppose chronologically it would be X-Men Darktide Box and Marvel Zombies box. Hastings had the Darktide DVD on clearance So I got that for the movie and then decided to go ahead and pick up their clearance Zombies box as well. Then when I stopped at Target the same day they were liquidating the minimates they had at $1 a box so I went ahead and picked up Ultimate Wolverine/Cyclops, Iron Man/Dr. Doom, Unmasked Spider-Man/Dr Octopus, Punisher/Blade, Torch/Mr. Fantastic, Ghost Rider/Daredevil, Spider-Woman/Riot Attack Spider-Man, and Beast/Kitty Pryde.The next day I went back and picked up everything Target had left. After that I stopped collecting until Wave 34's '90s Cyclops and Jean Grey, when the local Hastings started getting them in again, and haven't stopped since.

There are two versions of Po. There is regular and his imaginary Dragon Warrior version. Also in the series Mantas has at least once grown to giant size so a giant Mantis isn't out of the question. As for Crane Standard minimate body and hips, Battle Beast Scorpus legs, Mr. Fantastic stretch neck new sculpted head and either new wings/arms or a Falcon's arm wings. Leaving only Viper as an accessory; though to get more characters I'd be willing to get Mantis, Viper and Shifu as accessories. I could easily see a wave of: Po/Villain with mini Shifu Tigris/Crane with mini Mantis Monkey/Croc Warrior with Viper Great Dragon Warrior/ Croc Warrior

My first comic was Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos that my uncle had left in a box of odds and ends he'd left behind during one of his moves between A.F. bases. I can't say that it hooked me on comics but I do remember reading it. Then for a while I'd get a G.I. Joe of Transformers comic if I liked the cover but what really hooked me was getting a used copy of The Dark Phoenix Saga. After that I couldn't get enough. In fact it really did become an addiction to the point that at one point I had over 6,000 comics. Then around about the end of Heroes Reborn I quit collecting and gave away nearly everything in order to make a clean break. Now I'm back to reading comics again; however I'm severely restricting myself to less than ten series. If I get to seven then I start considering which titles I have to cut. Fortunately I don't count trades so I can pick up important story events every once in a while.

Perhaps a Dreamworks Animation license giving a mixed line of Shrek, Madagascar, and Kung Fu Panda characters.

Prototype of what? If you mean the Robot the closest I have is a custom that uses mostly Garrus parts and a movie Iron Patriot helmet with AoU Ultron hands. I figured the first year the calendar would likely be a TRU exclusive sort type deal with the blind bags being for other retailers to get their feet wet to see how seasonal mates would work. I mean I just picked up a Lego Chima Polar Bear set at Target for about the same as a blind bag minimate would be. Of course I then felt guilty so I went and got 2 more Mass Effect mates even though I'd already picked up a full case. So I'm sure if there had been a minimate option I'd have skipped the Legos and got three minimates right there. As for buying back the unsold sets at half cost doesn't really make sense considering the sets would likely end up on the 50% off MSRP after Christmas sales isle and still be a better deal for the store in the long run. As for a new head for the robot I was trying to keep new tooling to a minimum though doing a new calendar each year with the same basic characters with new or different bonus parts and simple recolors in the blind bags would make sense. Of course I'm just in it to get more battle beasts and a complete team of Reindeer. Bonus points if they could sneak in a new head sculpt with glasses of Thrasher from Disney's Prep and Landing.

After reading Valo's proposal for a Marvel Advent Calendar I got to thinking about how much fun a seasonal MAX line would be. While an Advent Calendar might be expensive a blind bag 12 strip could be a good avenue to consider. Still I've been thinking about seasonal mates since the Pirate Santa was shown so, with nothing better to do, I spent a bit of time working up an Advent Calendar line up. More proof! Hastings is the only location within 150 miles, with the exception of K Mart and Gamestop blind bags now, where I can get minimates. I only wish that they would send out complete sets or even cases rather than reserving the short pack figures for their "high traffic" locations.

I could see it as being a SHIELD replacement organization. With the fall of the original SHIELD a new group, possibly made up of powered individuals, created by Cap or the Avengers to mop up "wildfires" that the regular Avengers can't deal with. Leading into Cap: Civil War between this new organization and Colson's SHIELD with Cap caught in the middle. Of course it could just be the introduction of an Avengers Academy as well and it would explain how Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch first meet the Avengers. I doubt it's SWORD. That organization isn't likely won't show up until Guardians 2, if they visit Earth, or more likely Captain Marvel.

Thin Falls, got a strip in but all that were left after Friday morning was 2 Leos, Raph, and Donny. I cleared the rest of them out. Hopefully they'll order in another strip or two. I don't go as far as American Falls, Pocatello, or Burley to the East and I don't even know if they still have any K-Marts left. Nor do I go far enough west to check Mountain Home or Boise.

Now I'm going to have to go through my movie collection and find the title of the Zombie film that has 2 zombie tigers attacking a group of survivors.

I can see why from all the new parts that would be needed. Still, the mold could then be put to use in the Marvel line for Kymera's black tiger and most of the parts could also be reused for a leopard to go with Black Panther and for Zabu. Ah well, I suppose I'll just have to settle for Tygra and hope for an eventual Tiger Claw in the TMNT line or Manifold Tyger/Flying Tiger/Tigra in the Marvel line for my next minimate tiger fix.

I'd take a Warbird and Kid Gladiator two pack and a Captain Marvel TtA: Ms Marvel 1st, Binary, Warbird, and Captain Marvel.

Since Banshee's look was so close to wave 60 I'd go with something a bit more like this wave Jubilee with M head/Penance Chamber (neck blast covering upper torso and lower face) with Synch head/ Mondo Husk (extra transforming body and arms)/ Cameron Hodge Phalanx Skin (extra Cock Knocker and Mr Fantastic arms)/Phalanx trooper
