  1. The possibilities of the Paramount wave are astounding. The cross collectibles are unbelievable with the possibility of Elvis Mates from G.I. Blues and Blue Hawaii, John Candy from Summer Rental, and perhaps best of all John Wayne from Hatari! and True Grit. Though True Grit should be a comparison of classic and modern. I really can't wait to see what this wave will contain. At this point I'd even be excited by Breakfast at Tiffany's and The First Wives Club if it also meant a chance at Friday the 13th or Sleepy Hollow.
  2. Best of Movie Wave. Perhaps this is a way to release a few of the wave 15 Ghostrider mates? If not then hopefully it'll be composed of characters that didn't get made for the movie release waves. X-Men: Jean Grey (Uniform), Cyclops, Toad, Mystique, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Banshee and Moira. Spider-Man: Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Iron Man: Obidia Stane, and Final Battle Whiplash Fantastic Four: Movie Fantastic four and Dr. Doom. Paramount: I'm surprised no one has jumped on the fact that Star Trek is a Paramount property yet. Others that might make good minimates include Avatar the Last Airbender, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and Sleepy Hollow. Cult popularity possibilities include Escape from L.A., Chinatown, Braveheart and Paranormal Activity. Personal wants would be Steven King's Silver Bullet and Ghost and the Darkness. Properties on the cool but never going to happen because of licensing include G.I. Joe and Transformers (Hasbro properties), Tomb Raider (Not sure who has the property now but it was Core Designs), and Indiana Jones (I'm too damn lazy to look up which of George Lucas' licensing divisions that falls under). Filled with dread at the possibility An Inconvenient Truth, Cloverfield, Deep Impact, Sahara, and Without a Paddle.
  3. Something to take into consideration is what CBS still owns the Licensing rights too. I keep seeing Star Trek mentioned however that license belongs to Paramount. I'm not positive but I think Hanna-Barbera owns the Jetsons and Flintstones. And Bugs Bunny and all Loony Tunes are Warner Brothers. Sure they're likely part of the same conglomerate but I'm betting licensing has to go through the individual entities and that really limits what was likely left on the table. Still, having any toyline where Chuck Norris and Jack Bauer can work together would be perfection.
  4. Transformations set Cap-Wolf Throg Man-Spider Brood Wolverine (or any other animal shapeshifter)
  5. Angel Golden Age (outspread wings) X-Factor (Impaled wings) Archangel (Folded Metal Wings) AoA Scarlet Witch First Appearance Red and Black Arcane look from Force Works Ultimate AoA Red and Yellow Havoc 90's X-Factor Mutant X Ultimate Starjammer Captain Britain First Appearance Britanic Days of Future Past Sword of Power Version
  6. Dr. Doomsy is so wrong. I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or vomit. She is so cute that warnings should be posted. It's... stunning. However, if Doomsy is the face of Evil in the Cutie Pie universe, I shudder to imagine what the Heroes would be like.
  7. I don't do the Facebook thing but my votes are for: 1. Amaterasu (all versions) and X-23 (All Versions). Amaterasu for a couple of Wolfsbanes and X 23's foot claws. 2. Captain America (Punisher) and Nathan (Orange uniform) 3. Magneto (Black Cape and Helmet) and Zero (Black and Orange) Who am I kidding? I want them all unless they're TRU exclusive, in which case I'm limited to getting them online, then I have to pick and choose which ones I want most.
  8. Here's my entry. Marvel: GR (Gender Reversed) Universe Wolfsbane (Randle Talbot) Randle's life has been anything but easy. Rescued from the abuse his guardian Sister Craig by Magneto he became a founding member of the X-Factor unit known as the New Mutants. After only a few missions the Mutant Control Act was passed and the XSE (Xavier's Sentinel Enforcers) started hunting down all unregistered mutants with the X-Units at the top of the list. Defeated and on the run Moonstar and Wolfsbane retreated to the safety of Asguard. During this time he continued his training as a warrior and received the twin daggers known as the "Fangs of Fenris". Unfortunately the reprieve only lasted a few years before The False Gods Acts brought Ragnarok to Lady Thor's Realm. Moonstar chose to stand with his fellow Valkyrie. Randle was returned to Midguard on a mission to deliver the last great hammer "Skybreaker" to Erika Masterson. On his arrival in New York Randle found himself at the center of a battle between the Avengers and a mutant known as Nuke. He quickly realized that he could best help the heroes by finding the former human host of Lady Thor. Following the guidance of the hammer he was quickly able to locate Masterson. However he wasn't fast enough to stop the meltdown. They barely had time to take refuge in the deserted Morlock tunnels before New York was completely obliterated. The Superhuman Control Act was quickly passed making all individuals with greater than human abilities outlaws. Masterson, now taking the name Thunderstrike, helped Randle track down the retired Dark Damsel, Dana Whitman, and convinced her to lead a New Avengers team. Dana agreed on one condition, Randle had to lead her back through the Morlock Tunnels in order to retrieve an artifact from Ground Zero before the XSE could use it as a symbol of their growing oppression. Randle agreed and they made their way back through the tunnels. When they arrived they found XSE Sentinels being held at bay by Antonia Stark, The Iron Maiden. Damsel quickly captured Captain America's shield while Randle collected the remains of Weapon X's adamantium skeleton. They retreated before the XSE could dispatch specialized sentinel units. Eventually Dana was given a new non-cursed Ebony Blade forged by Hephaestus from Weapon X's bones, Wakandan vibranium, and an unknown "God Metal". With the addition of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Warlock the X-Avengers team was complete. Under The Dark Damsel's command with Randle as the second the war for super human survival began.
