I won't buy generics. i have no desire for police men and fire fighters. I will be getting the BSG line for the army guys however. I'd much rather play with 13 Spidermans then a police/firefighter set. However, that's just me. I love Marvel and I love the Marvel Minimates.

Man, the new Arkum has like Poison ivy, Mr. Freeze and Nightwing! Frickin Nightwing, TAS style! I really love Legos. They were my first love. Even before Transformers and way before Minimates. I still have them all. Man, it's a good thing toys aren't girls, or mine would all be jelouse all the time.

So I got my Darktide set, and was comparing them to my origionials. That's when I realized that I don't have a clue where magneto is. He's just... Gone. So far he's the only one I've lost. I lost Rhino for a while, but I knew basicly where he was, i was just too lazy to get him at the time. So, what have you lost? Is there any one out there that can share in my grief?

Wow. Ther's close then there's close then there's this. That IS yours! If you look at her left arm (our right) you can see the exact same sliver of white under it. The legs are exactally the same, everything. The play of shadows on her hips, how the left boot is off center. Dude, I am 99% sure they photoshoped out custom out of that picture. I don't think they copied you, I think that IS yous! Other then that, why are we getting 2 New Avanger sets with the exact same characters? This screams "fake" or "mock up" to me, meaning that this isn't the finished version.

Okay. So my mechacon guys said to go ahead and find some hard numbers. My gut feeling is that this won't happen however, as we're on a shoe string budget. Maybe for the 5th anual Mechacon. Anyways, off to hunt down some hard numbers.

What about the sets floating around ebay? Would those be easier and safer to buy then directly from the store? Or would that cause the same problems?

I'd love to see: Abby Chace Cavewoman Red Sonja Arwen from Sojorun. The CrossGen comics are now defunct, so I'm not sure how that would work. I'd personally like a second, higher quality Witchblade as well. They really skimpped out on the first set. The protos looked awesome but the actual mates sucked. I want more Indy Minimates!

Man, I actually imported a few of these. I really love them. They're totally awesome. All the coolness of a statue packed into a cute little package less than 3" high! I highly recomend this dealer if any one wants some. He's great.

As Danny said the Gallery over at Minimate Headquarters currently has 1479 actual customs and 331 designs categorized alphabetically for your viewing pleasure. JattaPake put a lot of work compiling this gallery (as does SlipperyDuckie keeping it up-to-date) so please make full use of it! Jah, I didn't know that.

i have a serious suggestion. What about a custom gallery, so we don't have to keep digging through the custom threads. something like www.transtopia.com would be good. People can submit pics and titles to a person, and they will upload them to the gallery. Or just do a regular photo book gallery, diffrent catagories with diffrent people with their pics inside. Also, I am all for any kind of Transformer activity added to here! And an optional spell checker might be nice to have before you post.

I was just thinking. How I wish so badly that I had a ton of totally blank minimates. No logos or anything. That would make customizing so much easier. White would be easiest, but black would also be required. It'd be so nice to draw on some minis without feeling bad for ruining a character or exclusive. (yes, I'm weird) Could we petition AA to make a run of totally blank Minis for customization?

What do you think would be a good run? Some exclusive minis seem to get a lot of attention (the FCBD ones, the AFX ones) but then others (like the bomberman and ECCC) seem to get no one to notice till everythign is said and done. Maybe its just me, but the point would be to suck people intot he convention, not get them to buy the toys afterwards. Cause this seems a really good way to go broke.
