An interesting point. I was watching an in depth interview on the church a while back. Some interesting points, if I remember correctly. This guy was the undisputed head, right? Well, his daughter has been the one doing all the dirty work (take that in every sense of the word), working hard for the church and essentially being a leader and her father's number two. However, his son (her older brother) has been doing NOTHING, yet is still destined to take over the church when his father (now) dies. Because he's the first born son. And he is very smug about it, and as much as his father was... unpleasant, this guy is just a prick. (Imagine that if you can.) He constantly rubs it in his sister's face that she's nothing and he'll be in charge. Well, his sister has the loyalty of the "congregation" and follower loyalty, but he has the church, building, name and bills. Expect to see them in the news more, as this is going to be a very nasty split in the church. (I add any more parenthesis and quotations, and soon I'll be doing a full fledged "BHM" impression )

Gogo, Sophie and Miki (in your pic) are the ones with the most screen time, but there are others. Center right, not Miki And a third one? I think this is Miki again. That scene moves so fast, and I've never paid that much attention. But there are at least 2, most likely more. Granted, they aren't the norm, which is why I'm suggesting it as a 1:3 ratio. It can also give us a named character to lead off the set (Miki) which will help break it up even further.

IDK, those are very masculine faces. And while a new slim cut jacket would be nice (and not going to happen), I'm more concerned about any tampos underneath as well as the face. We're talking about a very minor change that would give us some much need verity, please a lot of fans, and help move the set a little more. All I'm asking is please give serious consideration to this one change. It'll help everyone.

There seriously needs to be a girl 88 in that set, Zach. Very, VERY badly. I know it's mostly a parts reuse/army builder dump, but it would 1) ensure we get at least a few of the several female 88's, and 2) break up the homogeneity a bit.

Here's the catch 22. Under another network the show would be better, because they would have to face the near constant threat of cancellation. On ABC, they've gt the whole powerhouse of mouse behind them, showering them with money. So they are relatively secure. But the show... sucks. IDK, I have been having a really difficult time finding any television that is smartly written, not boring, and I can enjoy. Bates Motel was the last (american) show I've seen in some time that managed to hold my interest with the smart writing. Though even it had major flaws. Outside of that I've been having to import my television from Korea. Sad. I don't remember if TV was always this bad, or if movies have gotten much smarter in recent years and widened the gap?

Pffft. Dude, I am so incredibly hard to offend. Maybe I was being a bit snarky myself, letting my distaste for the movie color my comments. So, water under the bridge or over the dam or where ever you want it. I like some, a few, of the things they're doing/have done. Downplaying Uncle Ben's death and telling Gwen he's Spider-Man are two of my most hated though. I would have much preferred a Gwen who adored Peter but hated and hunted Spider-Man. But that leads deep into wish list territory. :/ It is also difficult for me to state that, with as wrong as SM3 got the "I killed your uncle" thing, Spectacular Spider-man did the same thing and got it absolutely right. It was emotional and impactful and utterly amazing.
