I prefer the blue tinted one the most out of the three. He looks really sharp with the blue tint.

Is the set only available thru AFX? My credit card is over the limit right now, so I probably won't be able to get them anytime soon.

I just slowly just pull them apart, twisting slightly. I haven't broke a leg yet. They are more sturdy than they look.

I also suggest that you check out the want/have list here. I'm sure you can get most of the X-men minis from people here. The only hard ones to get may be some from the Giant Sized X-men box set. I'm sure I have quite a few extra X-men in my parts box.

I think I am gonna finish up some customs I was working on. I have nothing going on this weekend, so maybe it will get me out of this funk I'm in.

I don't know what it is, but the most recent waves of minis have not gotten me excited. I don't know if it is just a funk I'm in or what. Anyone else feeling the same way? I just got the Avengers wave, Star Trek Wave, BSG wave 2, Marvel Zombies box set, and DC wave 5. I got this all in the past few weeks and none of them really made me say wow. I have loved all the DC mates up till now (even though I don't read any DC comics other than Batman related ones). Wave 5 was disappointing even though I was looking forward to the Hawkman/Hawkwoman set. Marvel Zombies set was blah too. I thought they looked great when they were announced, but now that I have them, I really don't care. I think once the Marvel minimates waves 19 and 20 come out that I'll get back into the swing of things. Those waves have quite a few figures that I have wanted for a looong time. Anyways, anyone else kinda lost interest in minimates lately, or is it just me?

I used sculpey flex. Worked great for me. No idea who has my custom Scorpion now though. I must make a new one soon though since we have yet to receive an official one.

Your two newest ones are amazing. I especially love the Darkness mini. I have one that I have been working on, but it looks like complete crap compared to yours. Did you sculpt the hair for him? It doesn't look familiar to me. Once again, great job. Your customs just get better and better.

I currently don't have live. I let it run out a while back. I'll definitely be getting it again when COD 4 comes out though.

I beat it on heroic, but not legendary yet. As for the flamethrower, it is in the "anus" level in at least two spots. It worked great for me for taking down the flood. Also, be sure to watch the ending all the way thru the credits to see the full thing. I know some people skip the credits and therefore haven't seen the full ending. Also I suggest everyone picking up Conan. The game is a blast to play. If you love God Of War, you'll really like Conan. There is lots of topless girls and dismemberments, so make sure you're old enough to first. The Orange Box comes out this month too. That will be another game worth buying.

I loved Taskmaster in the new Moonknight series. That is what my custom was based off of. I am making a new one as we speak using the Specter hood and a different cape.

I started with paints, but have moved on to decals. Actually I still paint them too, Decals can't be used on every part of a minimate body do to cetain odd curvatuers and such. I still suck with adobe, but am slowly learning.

I will finally be able to make some more Nightcrawler customs when Salaak comes out. I can't wait. I'm liking this wave more and more as I look at all the pics.

That Salaack head could probably be used as a Sauron head. We need more X-men minimates. This is probably my least favorite DC wave so far, oh well, I'll still buy it.

Sucks that all the Suncoast stores were closed down around here. I'll probably end up getting them off ebay:( On the plus side, the Hobgoblin face would make an excellent pissed looking Sleepwalker head. Just need to paint him green.
