  1. Well, I watched it a second time and caught some things that I didn't notice with my first viewing (like Hulk saying leave me alone during the first time that he meets up with Blonsky and his goons). I'm pretty sure he said it then and not during the fight at the college. Also I was immediately thinking about Wendigo when Ross was saying that Hulk was responsible for killing some soldiers, a lab assistant and possibly two hunters in Canada. Then at the end we see Banner in Canada, so maybe we will see Wendigo. Maybe start the second movie with short battle between Hulk and Wendigo and then moving on with the story revolving around the Leader.
  2. I love the Jack Burton design. How did you get the design on his shirt? Did you do it yourself, or take it from another image? I have a custom that has been sitting here for about a year that needs his shirt finished and was wondering how you did it.
  3. I have a DS and enjoy playing it, along with my wife and kids. I really need to buy another one so I can actually play mine. If you get the DS definitely get this to go along with it: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10401 I have one for mine and it works great. As for games, it all depends on what you like. Here is a list of games that I suggest: Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Advance Wars: Dual Strike Advance Wars: Day of Ruin Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword Barnyard Blast: Swine of the Night Bleach: Blade of Fate Mario Kart DS New Super Mario Bros. Mario 64 DS Final Fantasy III Professor Layton and the Curious Village Yoshi's Island DS There's lots more, it all depends on your tastes. Not to mention that if you buy the DSTT that you will be able to use NES and SNES emulators. I have the first three Zeld games on mine along with some Castlevania games and a bunch of other old school games.
  4. These look amazing and I really hate the fact that we didn't get at least one more wave of them. How are you painting all the details? The lines look so perfect.
  5. Saw it early today with the family and I really liked it (really drunk right now so I apologize for any typos). I never followed the comic that closely, but I really enjoyed the movie. A lot of connections to the old tv show. Everything from the music at a certain point, to the way he was turned into the Hulk (I think it is close to the show), to Lou Ferrigno's appearance. Great movie, and I take it that Mr. Blue is where people are getting the Leader comments from. I have no idea where the leader came about in the comics, but I'm assuming it has to to with the movie. The action was great and the Hulk looked pretty dang good for being all cgi. Still a bit shiny looking, but overall I really liked the look of him.
  6. I think that Morrigan's hair with a a little reworking would look even better. Check it out once Fujis.
  7. I'm sure there's a clue in what Matt said somewhere. Let's see... a synonym for "reveal" is "strip". Strips come in bacon and comic form. Comic strips are printed in newspapers. Newspapers are used in England to serve fish and chips. Chips in America are called "French Fries", and the French gave us the Statue of Liberty. Which is a monument, like Mt. Rushmore, which has the faces of famous presidents. Quarters also have the face of a President, which is an interesting coincedence in an election year. Presidential elections come every four years, like leap years. And frogs like to leap with frog legs, and I like "Frogger".... The exclusive is Hulkbuster Iron Man / Hulk. When you really look at what Matt said, it's so obvious. LOL. I had a flashback of the old Batman tv show while reading that. It is something that you would have heard Batman and Robin talking about when trying to solve one of the Riddler's puzzles
  8. I'm looking forward to the new X-men toon, but does it really need to be called Wolverine and the X-men? I saw a ton of mutants in the preview, so it had me excited. I'd also love to see the 90's Marvel toons released on dvd. My bootleg X-men set just doesn't satisfy me.
  9. I'm not a huge Iron Man fan, but this movie was excellent. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as Tony Stark in this movie. My wife even liked this movie a lot and she isn't a comic book fan at all. I didn't stay for after the credits, so I'll have to go see this again on Sunday.
  10. Well, if you got the time check this thread out. We have had it going forever now and there are some truly great costumes, and some truly disgusting ones too. I don't believe there is any nudity in the pics, so I think it is safe for everyone (there was a pic of a fat naked guy painted up like Spidey, but I think it was removed a long time ago). http://zcultfm.com/~comic/viewtopic.php?t=...asc&start=0
  11. Hey Crippler I'm the one that bought that Giant Man custom off of Ebay about a week or two ago. Anyways I was browsing through here and lo and behold there is a pic of my new Mate. Just wanted to say thanks again and it looks mad awesome next to my others. BTW, your other customs are pretty freakin sick and hope to snag a few others if and when you put others up for auction! Thanks for the kind words and welcome to Minimate Multiverse!
  12. Nice to finally see a pic of Liev as Sabretooth. I think Tyler Mane looks a lot better, but Liev is the better actor of the two. I just don't think Liev looks big and menacing enough to be playing him. Now I want to see how Deadpool looks. I hope that they give him a costume/mask that is somewhat close to the comics. I don't want a totally redesigned costume for him. He also better be wearing a mask.
  13. Great Black Manta. I was really hoping we'd see an official one released
  14. I thought those were great. I wish that the Marvel toons they have been releasing on dvd would switch over to CGI like those.
  15. The Tippman custom 98 is probably one of the most reliable markers out there. You can get one for a little over a hundred bucks. A lot of mu friends started out with them many, many years ago and they all still shoot great. I have owned a few Spyders too and they have all been great. I know the electronic Spyders are a lot of fun, but aren't allowed on a lot of fields. If you are playing in the woods with friends then I'd look into the electronic Spyders. Don't go overboard if you're just getting into the sport. It is expensive to play (paint still costs quite a bit at fields). If you play the occasional game it's not bad. I have been playing for over ten years and have actually pretty much switched over to airsoft now. It's a lot cheaper and a heck of a lot of fun. If ya want a Spyder I'll sell ya one for $50 shipped. It comes with a longer barrel for better accuracy too (along with the one that originally came with it). Just send me a PM.
  16. I do the same thing as you hellpop. They come off pretty easy for storage.
  17. I found some rubber bugs in a little toy quarter machine that work great for minimates. I just have to do the chest decal for my Wasp.
  18. Looks good. I'd definitely paint them white though.
  19. Nah, these ugly things look more like Otto http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode=vie...600&start=0
  20. Minimate soldiers would be kinda cool. You could have Marines, Amy, Airforce, SAS, Green Berets, Vietnam era Soldiers, WW2 Soldiers, Snipers, etc. The money raised could go to some charity that has to do with Military Veterans.
  21. I have been considering a tablet for a while now. Money is just a bit tight lately. Thanks for help with the pen tool. I never figured out how to use it.
  22. Just wondering if anyone can give me any pointer on using Adobe Illustrator. I can draw great designs on paper, but when it comes to using Illustrator, I suck. I have a hell of a time drawing using a mouse. Any tips by those that are good with Illustrator? My designs end up looking decent, but it takes a lot longer than it should because of the impreciseness of using a mouse to draw. Oh yeah, I am also self-taught when using Illustrator, so I only know very basic things about it.
  23. I have a dozen or so pairs of those wings sitting around. Been wanting to make a few different Archangel/Angel customs, just haven't gotten around to it.
